@@samroy6861 wicket keeping strains one out man especially in ODIs n tests. I mean he's still doing well but if he only batted, he'd have more energy both physically n mentally. He's explosive right now, he'd be much more consistently explosive then. Keeping has it's advantages as well, u get a better idea about the pitch from behind the stumps even before u go in to bat, than the others in ur team. Depends on him I guess. Just my 2 cents.

@@lazymedic5988 he wasn't a permanent keeper and his away records aren't that great compared to home. On the other hand, Gilchrist revolutionised the WK role and aggressive hitting in powerplay.
