I'm wanting to put my Mom in one of these Chrysler 300c. Once my Harley Davidson Road King Classic sells, I'm going to get her one. I see some that are posted for sale saying the need coil packs replaced? Is that a lot of money to fix them?
My 05 300c 350k. hemi never had an issue. Changed out front end and fuel pump. Both flex pipes. Bought it with 150k. One my favorites that I've owned. Fun and ez to work on. Hemi Still running very strong.
I feel you i had a 1990 range rover parts are super expensive I've had to change the alternator 3 times it was a pain in the ass gas tank lid was like $ 60 dollars for a gas cap i finally had enough and junked it chevy all day from now on 👍
This car is a legend. Had it back in 2010 till 2018. I had 214,000 km on it v6 but it drove good. Saw the person who purchasd it drive it a few weeks ago and it was still running good. My point is if you keep it maintained it will drive for a long time
Yeah that's very true.. Maintenance keeps the car.. People who don't have money to maintain a particular car end up torturing the car and later talk like the car is unreliable
For anyone with clunking issues, try replacing your sway bar bushings first. Had three mechanics missed the mark after having control arms, sway bar links and other suspensions parts replaced. The bushings were the culprit and was fairly simple DIY job to do. I got Moog bushings which were chunkier
I know about that sound its a common thing with the exhaust My neighbors 2006 300c hemi v8 is Making like a Loud rumble like then when he accelerated his speed it gets louder
Great stuff man! Mine is pretty much stock too but hopefully won't be for long! Will be slowly building the car here on the channel as I'm able. Thanks for watching!
My 05 300c is exactly the same! Same miles roughly, same suspension issues, same leaky gasket, literally everything you mentioned. Even the exhausted. But my 5.7 is still running super 💪. Great video.
I have an 05 same color and wheels lowered looks really awesome and it has 270,200 miles. Still runs strong. It needs valve cover gaskets and oil pan gasket done. Other than that its a joy to drive.
Love this video. I am looking at picking up a 2012 300C 5.7 Hemi with 115,000 miles on it. I was nervous about it at first (ive always drove imports) but after seeing this video I am feeling a lot better about getting it. Thank u.
My parents 300c with the hemi has around 300,000 miles on it. Problems they have had is the transmission getting locked into reverse. Solved this by getting another shifter. Replaced the bushings in the front end at 250k miles. Replaced the power steering pump and Radiator that was leaking at 290k. Otherwise those are minor things for a car with that mileage, still runs like new and doesn't use oil. My Jetta has 190K and has way more problems than that but I do get 50 mpg out of the TDI.
Super nice car man! I loved them when they were new, I actually had one of the first 06' Hemi Chargers in my area. I'd be happy with a 300C just like yours... It looks to be holding up impeccably compared to most cars taking the yearly salt bath. I'm in central NY so I know how that all goes! I have friends with 2014 GM's that are starting to rust out...I've been leasing cars and i'm sick of it. I want to buy something on the relative cheap that'll still be awesome without too many headaches. This is a great contender. Thanks for putting this video together!
I still like these cars... The 5.7 and 5 speed auto is a reliable combination for the most part. Nice to see one with that many miles still holding up well! I'm not terribly surprised.
I got a 06 300c with 97k. It spent most of its life in Connecticut and has some rust on the rear quarter panels. I love it. Its a beast but i agree the suspension sucks. My leather is in pretty good shape with little cracking. I prefer this body style compared to the newer 300s.
great review, I have a hand me down 2006 300c just shy of 180k miles, that I know of, both control arms have been replaced and possibly more, glad you mentioned the "hemi tick" I always worry about my oil level when I hear it, either that or a noisy lifter, but knowing it is very common, puts my mind at ease, the car is great to mod, mine has a custom grill and 19" custom rims with low profile tires
Thank you! I'm actually currently doing a blackout look on the car and some performance stuff coming up. Check out my page and you'll see the other videos of the build! Have a good one!
I've had an 05 300 touring for roughly 7 years now and just hit 205xxx miles and have only had to replace the radiator fans. Besides changing tires, oil, ect., I've never had any major issues with my Chrysler.
As a previous owner of a 1969 Plymouth Grand Fury, there’s just something about the 300 that pulls on any man’s testosterone fuelled image while still checking the Low rider, godfather box and is a classic and a keeper. The models fitted with the Pentastar 6 cylinder gave marvellous highway mileage while still smoking along at ticket earning speeds. These cars are just plain cool, and considering your overall costs, you are doing alright!
I have an 08 with the hemi that uses MDS technology and I get better highway mileage than my friend who has the V6. 9 litres per hundred kms which equates to just better than 30 MPG imperial.
@@oldsloanei was gunna say the same lmao. It gets identical fuel milage and the hemi is more reliable and easiee to work on. Why anyone goes for the V6.. we will never know
Nice video, just getting started on replacing suspension stuff on my 06. Did the fuel tank recall and they replaced the weak fuel pump at the same time for free. EGR valve and water pump in the past month. Look for videos on “stuck in park”. OEM replacement part is plastic; use the metal part from Dorman. Other than that, I keep having to replace alternators, probably 5 or 6 so far
Thanks for the review! I have a 2006 300c with 200k miles on it, got it in 2012 with 74k miles and still going strong. Mine is modified though. Still need to have the fuel tank replaced. I replaced the whole front end suspension at once including new steering rack, power steering lines, pump and input shaft (the rubber on that comes apart). Had alignment issues (probably because it’s lowered) and replaced the upper control arms with adjustable SPC and fixed that issue. Cheap way how to avoid valve seat drop is to disable MDS feature, 180 thermostat and after you park let it run for a minute or 2 before shutting it off. Mine has the same issues with interior, but replaced interior door handles with those from SRT8 and steering wheel from SRT8. Don’t have problem with chrome as I eliminated the chrome and blacked out the car to match the paint. If you get a tuner, I highly recommend replacing the rear gear ratio from 2.82 to 3.06. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and happy I don’t have a car payment.
Ive had a Chrysler 300 for 5 years bought it at 75k now has 132k miles on it. And its been the most dependable car ive ever had. Left me stranded only once when the starter relay went out. Was a $30 part and thats it. Other than that have replaced battery tires spark plugs and oil. And a new aftermarket stereo after the original one I had got stolen. Ive been happy with this car. You are correct with suspension issues. But have mainly ignored those issues and noises car drives fine.
Mine has 250,000 on it. It still runs beautiful everything works great. Still looks great inside and out. Also just has minor things need to be done. I really enjoy it. Its a great ride.
I have one of these with 140k and everything you talked about I found is very accurate, I've had to replace much of the suspension and the door handles are also an issue 😂 I love this car though never owned a more reliable car
I have a 2006 300C. Bought it 2 years ago with 135k miles on it and over the course of 2 years I’ve spent close to 3 grand fixing up the engine mounts, front end suspension, alternator, battery, oil changes, transmission fluid & filter change. I’m at 164k miles right now and a few thousand miles ago I started to notice that my transmission was starting to go out. It was slipping gears and rough shifting. I put some Lucas Transmission Fix in it yesterday and so far it seems to really be helping with that but the car still vibrates horribly at a stop when in drive. Other than that my chrome is all original and it looks fantastic to this day. The car came from the south for all of it’s lifetime before I had it so rust was never an issue even now where I live up north. Even though it costed me a fortune I love this car and the day I have to get rid of it when the transmission goes I’ll be looking to get another 300. Great video!
Thank you for posting this review. I own a 2005 limited. I bought it in the summer of 2004, watched it being unloaded off the transfer truck! It only had 3 miles on it when I took possession of it. Now it has 179,000 miles and it’s time to sell. I have never had a mechanical problem with it, although it is starting to clunk a little when it’s cold. I have replaced the normal wear and tear like tires and brakes but it has been a very good running, dependable, and great looking car! I’ve owned this car longer than any other, 15 years this July. I will miss it very much........however getting over my 300 might be quick, I just purchased a 2007 C6 3LT Z51 Corvette! My end of life car! 😄😄
I'm about to buy this car and I can find em for 4000-5000 in good condition.. What is mileage? How much it consumes l/100km? I live in country where monthly salary is 600 bucks and gas price is 1.8 dollar per litre (6.7 dollars per gallon) so is it smart move buying it??? Here 95% of population drives cars with 1 to 2L engines... Boring and not much efficient.. All above 2L is considered as "luxury" and it's exponentially more expensive for registration bcs of "luxury tax". Registration and insurance for this beast would cost 2700 dollars annually unlike normal cars with 270 bucks of taxes... (luxury tax can be avoided if you register car on invalid person's name so isn't going more than 300 bucks) Btw I'm 27yo boy who wants once in his life to try American beast... I wouldn't drive more than 10.000km annually, so I'd use it for weekend ride or traveling to coast... Since they're rare here in Serbia, car parts are expensive like for space shuttle. I could live with that, but my question is, what fuel consumption to expect in relaxed ride not faster than 50-80mph since here are expensive speeding penalties.. Have you ever reached consumption bellow 10 liters per 100 kilometers (2.6 gallons per 60 miles)? Can you tell me as experienced owner of this car what commonly problems to expect and some useful tips if I dare devil to buy it.. Remember, fuel price is 6.8 bucks for gallon and I have 550-600 bucks salary (200 left free for spending what I want).. Thanks in advance!
@@mrboleus8240 hello my friend. After reading about your situation, I have to say that I really should not be complaining about mine. My 300 had the 3.5L 6 cylinder that was plenty powerful but still efficient on gas mileage. I was averaging about 24 to 26 miles per gallon depending on conditions. You are spot on with the pricing, I sold mine for $4500. Sorry to hear about the price of gas in Serbia, here in California, it just hit $6 a gallon! Let’s Go Brandon🖕! I think if you find one in your price range, You will enjoy and look and feel good driving it👍. Good luck and stay safe sir!
@@mrboleus8240 I have an 08 Charger R/T which is basically the same setup. It is all stock so gas mileage is still pretty decent. They started adding MDS(Multiple Displacement System) somewhere along the way. This switches it from 8 cylinder operation to 4 cylinder operation. They are rated at 24mpg(miles per gallon). My check engine light was on which deactivates MDS. I drove it probably 300 miles and used very little gas. I was impressed. If you start modifying them, gas mileage can change drastically. They sound terrible in 4 cylinder mode with aftermarket dual exhaust. Most people disable it. Lifter failure is common on Hemi's, known as "Hemi Tick". Usually wipes out the cam. Oil type and maintenance is key but not guaranteed to eliminate it. Disabling MDS seems to be the best option as it allows full oil pressure to all of the lifters all of the time. Front suspension is the main failure point. It doesn't keep it from being driven, it just makes noise and can cause vibrations at certain speeds.
This is a great review. I’m thinking about getting a First Gen 300 and you did such a great job. Thanks for being so thorough and explaining what I will possibly have to replace.
Great video. I've got a 2010 300c and there is a horrible raddle/clunking noise coming from the rear passenger wheel area. it sounds like something is loose whenever I go over a bump. Taking it to the dealer for a couple recalls. going to have them look at it then. Hopefully they can figure it out.
@Stormy D. I literally laughed out loud at the Michelin man jacket line. It's cold here in the northeast man! You didn't even mention the awesome sunglasses!
Great review! Ive loved this car, body style...ever since they rolled out. It has very similar lines to that of aBentley, but the B*LLS of American HEMI Muscle! Looking at a few options, mostly the AWD version. Thanks again for this review, You’ve hit the nail right on the head, as far as being curious as to how they have held up over time. Cheers!
Hi from Western Australia...I bought a 2006 Chrysler 300c Hemi 5.7 V8 for Australian $11000.00 I’m very lucky as she is in mint condition probably due to the fact is was kept under cover...I have no issues with chrome peeling...I will look into the suspension though as I have those sounds too...I thank you for that...160129 kms...I love it...oh and it’s black with multicoloured sparkle through it...
I have an 08 with the SRT design package and I love it. It has 150,000 kms on it and the only suspension problem I have had was the tie rod ends, one was so bad it nearly fell off the ball. When I replaced it I cut it open only to find absolutely no grease in the joint. I am sure it came from the factory that way because grease does not evaporate.
I bought a Salvaged (Flood Damaged) 2006 SRT8 300. I have owned the car now for just around 4,000 miles. I have only had to fix minor things... Gas cap locked itself and I don't have that key... One of the previous owners tinted the FACTORY TINTED windows, not once, but twice... (yes 2 layers on top of the Factory tint). The car currently has about 115,000 miles on it, and it runs like a dream. I might attribute this to it being a flood salvage, that most of the Rubber stuff in the suspension had been replaced before my purchase, since the car was salvaged 2 years prior to my ownership. I might just be one of the lucky few, that has an awesome version of this car, and with the way I drive it, will likely never see these issues that other owners seem to report. I have owned a 2013 300, and my brother in law currently has a 2012 Challenger, and previously had a 2011 Charger. None of these cars have had any issues aside from the brakes shimmying (like all of these cars seemed to do, except mine which has brembos) and prior owner related issues, when they removed screws but didn't put them back.
Sounds awesome! Id love to upgrade to an SRT8 at some point. I've considered finding a wrecked one and using the body of mine to fix it. Haven't had the right one come along yet though. Thanks for watching!
for what he paid for it the parts are not really that bad considering the mileage . It's a cool vehicle period more so if you pick the maroon/burgundy all wheel drive version is if you can find it
Great Vid bro🔥🔥I Luv This Model I own The 06 300c & I would Trade it 4 Nothing Great Cool Looking Car Especially when U Fix them up & Mod them 2 Your liking💪🏾🙏🏽
I have a 2005 300c it has 1009 miles on it. Body is completely mint paint perfect runs like a beast fast as hell. Inside interior almost completely mint. The car has every extra when it came out. I love my car and it's one of the best I've ever owned. By the way I've just replaced just about all the suspension parts this month it was costly due to the inflation in this country. Also i did replace one door handle. All in all great car. You're review is spot on. Later
@Stormy D. aha, yeah that's funny! I was at a shopping center prknglot once and someone fob locked their car. near there, the tailgate of a chevy traverse opened. no one was around it at all, otherwise. i bet the owner freaked when they came out from shopping and saw it! i thought of closing it, but didn't want someone to see me and get the wrong idea..cops called etc. it's so tough to be nice nowadays, lol.
@Stormy D. ahh. keep an eye on it! i was going to parts out a rusted to heck '00 durango. it ran/drive fine..just needed a couple things. plan: beat the tar out of it at my brothers far this past winter! :) so, 1st time doing that, was bouncing it off of the rev limiter..and 'squeal, zing zing!!!'..yucky, horrid sounds! barely idle..clacking, squealing eeck. wth? dammit! so..few days later, i checked the oil. there wasn't any! it didn't burn a drop..there was never any on the ground either! im still puzzled. Sabotage? shrugs. anyways, esp. when you drive your cars hard.. beaters or otherwise, check the dang oil, every time you drive it! lolol. ive never had anything like that ever happen to me.
I'd report similar things about my 05 AWD Magnum. Worst thing for sure is the suspension. I had both my front drive shafts pop right out and all the bushings were shit. It really has beefy parts underneath it, very truck-like, but the rubber and shit holding it all together isn't very truck-like. Regret it being an AWD, even though that sounded neat at first. My interior has held up better though. I had the warping around vents but some super glue fixed it up so well that it surprised me. It looks excellent for it's age now. Interior looks more like a Durango of that era rather than a Charger and thankfully has no chrome or wood bits. I've had to replace a fuel pump too. That lock ring was a bitch, had to order a special tool. My paint is excellent as well, props to Chrysler for quality paint. It's a fun car that grabs a lot of attention to drive but I'd not like to depend on it as my only car. It's never left me stranded but I get the feeling that it would if I drove it a lot. I paid only 2000 dollars for this car so I am happy with what I got, though now I am wanting to find a Challenger if prices ever come back to reality. Edit: It has 256,000 miles on it right now.
I had my '99 300m from about 160,000 up to 330,000 km. Got rid of it cause of an oil pump failure. It was a slow failure, so it probably had questionable oil pressure for months and made no sense to replace. Otherwise I replaced the ball joints and tie rods as you did. I also replaced some other normal wear items. Worst thing that ever went wrong was the radiator broke and needed replaced. Overall it was rock solid, comfortable, and surprisingly sporty.
Agreed I've changed all my shocks struts upper control arms tire rods sway bar bushings I have a 05 Chrysler 300 Limited center console shakes all the cheap plastic parts Shake more than a stripper's ass
I have two, an '08 C and a'14 S. Both AWD Hemi's. The '08 has 215K on it and had the suspension rebuilt, new rack, trans and coolant flush at 167K. It was a highway car for the first 6 years of it's life. The only expensive component was the totally integrated power module at 213K. It also needed one cat converter for about $800. The '14 is lower miles at 67K. I love 'em both and will try to keep them running as long as possible.
I also live in northeastern Pennsylvania and I’m the original owner of a 2006 Chrysler 300 C that currently has 273,000 miles on it and I will race anyone with my Hemi. After 13 years I had to replace a fuel pump after 14 and alternator there were some issues with the gas tank as you mentioned and I have a lifetime warranty after I had the initial tank replaced. Just recently I replaced a valve cover. Unfortunately I was run off the road in Jersey and I went into the center median hitting all kinds of bumps and holes I thought I blew out all four tires and broke every axle when I finally stopped and called the police I got back up onto Route 78 and I was able to drive the car home without incident. Took it to my mechanic and he found some parts that needed replacement but the car saved me from sure death. Those replacements to the front end were directly related to that incident. If you were in the car and saw how it handled you would be impressed. I have no issues with the paint job a slight rust problem at both rear wheel wells right at the seam where metal meets plastic which I’m having that sanded out and fixed but other than that this car has been incredible it also came with a six CD changer which worked flawlessly until I decided to make a label for one of my CDs. Not realizing the very close tolerance the label melted jammed up the mechanism. I went on RU-vid and learned how to remove the radio and remove the CD when I put it back in something didn’t work right and I will replace the radio but that’s after many years and I’ve decided I would rather keep this car and rebuild it because I love the look of the 2006 300C. Mine is all wheel drive and as long as you have good tires you will go through anything. Say what you Will Scotty add take this Chrysler over your Honda. By the way my four previous cars were all Toyotas and they all had issues. I like them but I’m equally as impressed with my Chrysler especially with no car payments since 2012.
I own a 2007 300c with 152k miles and recently had the shocks struts upper and lower control arms with ball joints replaced. Still hearing clunks coming from to me sound rear passenger side. Kind of at a lost at what to replace next. Thought it was spare or something loose moving around in the trunk but that wasn’t issue.
I got to 236,000 miles in my 05 v6, and loved it. Had replaced every front end part. At the end of it's life I wound up breaking a spring in the rear, needed 4 more front end parts, tires, 4 wheel bearings, steering got janky, and an exaust. I missed that car so much I bought an 05 5.7L C😂
My 06 300C now with 100,000 has had a conductor plate in the transmission replaced and a water pump. (Battery, tires, and a fan belt). Front end is tight, runs and drives like new.
Own a 07 300c for 4 years now. 190k and it’s running like brand new. Just replaced the whole front suspension. Been using mobile 1 5 20 full synthetic. Great cars. Nice video btw.
As a die hard mopar fan and owner of 3 chryslers including a SRT8, you're spot on! I own a 02 300m Special then bought an 07 SRT8 I love my srt but I barely drive it and it sits at just over 90k miles. I wanted a beater and a car I can take to the track and not worry about so I got a 05 300C Hemi, platinum (or limited, dont remember what the top trim was before the SRT) package just like yours but I paid 1,200 with a little over 135k miles, needed a cam chain. Taking advantage of a partial motor tear down I went browsing and got an srt camshaft from a 6.1L, and a few other srt odds and ends followed by a diablo tuner. Alot of the problems you mentioned, I have had happen of course, all but one which caught me by surprise and thats the dash. Ive just about replaced all control arms and ball joints on the car, so I pushed my luck by having a set of cheap ebay lowering springs installed, put on some 20 inch hellcat replica wheels and all for around 4k total i got a sleek, fast, daily driver, however a couole months of running ported and polished heads with srt valve and valve springs I had a valve drop, luckily I caught it before it did any major damage and fixed it the week after. The car runs 13.9 in the 1/4 mile at 106MPH, not bad considering what the car weighs and how much is put into it.
Very cool stuff! Glad you caught that valve drop in time! I do plan to do some motor work to mine coming up. Doing some cosmetic upgrades first (already started, check out my other videos if you'd like) and then I'm gonna work on performance stuff. Im slightly concerned to drop and real money on this engine with the miles but we will see what happens I guess. Thanks for watching!
2200 is cheap, no rust thats decent. What can you get for 2 grand that looks that nice, plus no payments. For a few hundred in parts a year, compared to buying a new car and having it depreciate.
Mike Stewart Yea Exactly. That’s a good deal for the car. He’ll be able to drive that thing for 5 years and sell it for at least what he paid for it. His only cost of ownership will be maintaining it.
The flex tubes on my Magnum R/T went out too. I also liked the tone it made and left it that way.. until my ECM went bad. Replacing it, I found that it was directly over the exhaust leak and likely overheated the electronics. I fixed the flex tubes but sure miss the way that hemi used to rumble.
People treat there cars like shit and then blame the manufacturer. I’m still running my 05 HEMI 300 everyday and it looks better now than it did the day I bought it. Learn how to care for your vehicle. It’s not difficult. When this car was released Mercedes owned Chrysler. Your essentially buying a Mercedes when you purchase one built between 05-08. This is a beautiful car and it will stay that way if you treat it with respect. I guarantee this one in the video has had a harder life that it deserved (looks like its spent its life outdoors all the time) and it still runs strong. If that isn’t a testament to how well made they are I don’t what is. Show me another car that still looks and runs like that after 14 years of regular use.
Corey Smith Well for the most part they were. I have a high mileage 05 e class and it’s been great and the interior is nicer looking than that 300.

I have an 06 300c 5.7L hemi and yea the suspension is shit in all of them along with the fans. But overall I think they're long lasting if you take care of them.
So, other than all the suspension, valve covers, exhaust system and chrome deterioration plus interior falling apart, fuses, power steering and a bunch of other stuff it is great?
@Curtis Fleabag ikr? and..if it bothers you, re tighten the screws every 50k, geez, some ppl cant be bothered to grab a screwdriver nowadays. loc-tite everything. & paint the interior or redux with leather, go nuts. lol. Mopars. where life begins at 100k.
I am guessing your heads were done already and before putting them back on had them shaved .20. This tightens up the slack in the pushrods that causes the "hemi tick". Great video. In 04 I worked at a rental car place that had 2 brand new ones. People would stop and stare when you drove them down the road, they are still great looking cars.
i think you left out a couple of important details such as how fantastic the all wheel drive is (live in michigan) unless you do not have it and how pleasant the car drives mine is a 2008 and I have 200,000 miles on it. suspension issues and the radio is crap. Otherwise been the best car I have ever had.
Mine is a RWD and is absolutely terrible in the snow. I have heard, as you said, that the AWD ones do very well. I really do appreciate the input though! Thanks for watching!
@@JakeDrives1 I should have probably invested in a set but I do have other cars to drive so it hasn't been a big deal. Here's a link to my attempted drive in the snow if you're interested. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y4HUaTbgkOE.html Thanks for watching!
TopLineRacer: I remember hearing about Chrysler developing a "true" limited-slip differential for its RWD cars (at least for the Challenger - I don't know if the Charger, Magnum, and 300 also got one?), shortly after they came out. Isn't that supposed to improve traction in conditions such as snow or mud? I don't know then, if your '05 300, being a first-year model, did not have a limited-slip differential?
@@mel1nda12ax7 I do know they updated the differential in 2008 (I think) the newer diffs are much more desirable but I am not sure the details of the one that is in the 2005-2007 models. Thanks for watching!
I’m definitely interested in buying a 300. I’m looking at a C or S model with the V8 Hemi, and a 2011 or newer model. I’ve been told that the 2nd gens have a better quality interior and a better transmission. I’ve looked at several and test drove a few and from what I can tell these statements are true. I’ve heard the srt’s are known for cam issues and the v6’s I’ve been told to stay away from as well. If anyone can give me any info on the v8 Hemi in the C or S model 2nds gen as far as anything to watch out for I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m wondering if they have the same suspension and exhaust problems as the 1st gems or if Chrysler took care of those issues with the later series.
Hey you know what as long as you change the oil on time and not seriously beat on it I don't know why a Hemi wouldn't last this long... I've been driving Dodge chargers and Chrysler 300 5.7's since 2005, a long time and I never had any major engine issues.. but then again my cut off mileage is no more then 60k max then I just buy a new car.. but yeah they're great engines
I just bought a 2006 Dodge Charger RT with the 5.7 Hemi for $1,250 the engine caught fire melted a bunch of wires I did my research the dealer no longer sells engine wiring harnesses for a 06 Charger RT you can't even get them in this country so now I'm on a hunt but it's okay it was his problem now it's my treasure it's a beautiful car it does have high mileage 220,000 miles but the engine was replaced. I'm a mechanic I don't care it was somebody else's junk now it's my treasure
I just got a 2011, newer body style and im looking forward to driving the crap put of it. Shes got 255,xxx miles BUT was garage kept all its life. No rust, super SUPER clean interior, smells new still. Just really happy to have it
Nice, i just got a 2010 300 Touring for $3,900, 170,000 miles, i notice the suspensions shakes also, but other than that it runs really good, im very happy with my 300
I have an 06 300C with 106k miles. It's my fun car so I don't drive it in South Dakota winters. I have the same problem with the gas tank. When did that recall come out? Talk about a serious safety issue. I never fill the tank full and mostly only put 10 gallons in when it close to E which eliminates the tank issue but, I want a new tank if they recalled them. Thanks
My Chrysler 300c is w 08 and has 211000 miles on it and still runs like it's fresh off the lot. Regular maintenance and oil changes will have these cars running forever. Of course over the years things wear out but I've never had to put any serious maintenance into my hemi. Love these cars and will forever be my favorite Mopar
@Stormy D. all dodge/Chrysler sedans have a clunk my 2014 charger RT did and the MDS lifter was going. My Pontiac G8 wasn't great either but i loved them. Its that hatred that makes you fall in love with em lol
Greetings from California i enjoyed your video I'm also a Mopar owner i have a 2006 Chrysler 300 touring with a 3.5 liter v6 with 188xxx miles i couldn't agree more with the suspension ive been replacing nearly every part of the front end besides that nothing major motor and tranny are in good shape car has been very reliable 👌
Thanks for watching! Glad to hear your 300 has been reliable as well (other than those front ends). Keep it maintained and it should last for a long time yet! Have a good one!
