I drove this thing a couple of times and man, this one grabs alot of attention. It's huge and spacious, gives good enough mpg. I drove the v6 ecoboost and that itself is too good. When the boost kicks in, boom and you're off the line. Looking forward to drive this one again.

This is probably the best review on RU-vid for the 2021 expedition. Thank you.

The Screen on the 2022 has Easy to use controls on the dash over the distracting Huge Screen. In the Future I really think we’re all going to really hate screen everywhere. We’re going to want to get away from them. You pointed out the Keyless numeric pad outside the front door on the pillar. That came out 41 years ago on the 1980 Premium Fords, and Lincolns, as an option.

I feel the same about having too much screen. It’s distracting and unnecessary but they all want to compete with each other for the most “modern” tech lol

I have a 2021 XLT Max with FX4 package. Let me tell you a few things I hate about this car: * The only place you can fold the 3rd row seats is via the buttons in the trunk. No manual fold, and no buttons for the driver. Really, Ford? You couldn't add a button on the dash? * Power fold mirrors don't always work correctly. Sometimes you exit the vehicle and grab the handle to lock, but it tries to unlock. Let go and retry, still tries to unlock. * Pushing the start button without depressing the brake turns on the electronics, in case you want to adjust windows while waiting in the car, etc. but it activates the memory seats. * Tried all the Ford key fob combinations to roll down windows remotely, but none of them work. This is standard feature for this key fob * I mostly drive in Eco mode while going around town. Can't set that as the default drive mode as far as I can tell * Some body panels must not be fit correctly, because they squeak when pressure is applied * USB port is in the charging tray rather than in the console, requiring you to keep the tray open at all times if you want the cable to remain plugged in. I get it, but it's unsightly having the cable always dangling from the tray * No rain/snow driving mode like the Land Rovers had. * Tires (18" on the FX4) are All-Terrain, but are NOT snow rated. They just look like all-season tread incorrectly labeled as A/T on the sidewall. * Power outlet is only 110W. C'mon, Ford. The F-150s get a 400W, why not this car, and for this price? * Aftermarket is practically non-existent. Nothing really available to make it truly feel like yours. I got some seat covers and an intake. Other than that, you might find roof racks, very expensive small lift kits (or using certain F150 loaded struts), and cargo covers. That's really all that's available. If I could, without having to take a huge loss, I would have given this car right back to the dealer and taken my 2012 F150 FX4 5.0 back that I traded in. It gave me a far better sense of safety, reliability, and usability. All around, I rate this overpriced PoS a 6/10.

Great video! I have a question about 2022 expedition. Any thoughts on whether it is likely to have Heads up display? One of best features of all, I think. Hard to imagine they don't feel a need to add as an option to a vehicle in this price range, but no mention from Ford Authority, that I have seen. Almost a deal breaker for me.

So some poeple have done these guys coming from a 3 year with it. The 2020 expedition max xlt. In red. I wouldn't say gas is crazy coming from a. Truck 03 ram. Eats like it's candy😂 compared to this car since it's a V6 it really saves gas. One thing that kind of weirded me out. The gas ... I would fill up the car normal driving maybe 20-40 min drive. Or less and would fill up my car 45-50 bucks max. Then when am running 2 hrs. And get it to empty. It rockets to 80 bucks in order to properly fuel your car. And I highly recommend the car man. . But with headrest yes it has been a pretty big issue. Headlights was annoying with the info on and off. So I took that off just to keep it on in the settings. The alert for a car in front suddening breaking the Ford expedition comes clutch allways has been alert at all times. Ome thing that i didn't like was the headlights itself. Think it's from the model not sure. The c cup look in the front lights... I didn't get them Ive seen other have it. But wish all expeditions had those c cup headlights. Mine didn't come with the sensor 360 camera. Not the sunroof. But was my first car I owned. Personal experience. I got to comfortable with the speed thing when changing if your parking driving or reversing. I would be ready to park but goes in reverse. Lol but nothing from the build just how I use it. The space is nice. Just as a tall guy. I wish the high of the roof was a bit taller. I have to crotch down like 45 degrees in order to go in or out the car. The leather in the front of the car is nice soft and all. But coming from Florida. I started to get a small bubble come up. I prefer being plastic so I don't worry about haveing that issues. I would highly recommend getting your windows ceramic tinted. 70%. The seats are crazy nice but no massaging seats. With the one I got. Not dis the window go down with the remote. Really disliked the small screen it's touchscreen but I really like the 2022 touchscreen reminds me of the ram 2022 I think? Driving experience amazing. Feels like your in your own home. Super quiet. I've seen trucks go into small bumps or passing railroad tracks with a small humpm and no jumping crazy or the front touching the ground. The coils balance that all out. The AC!!! MANNNNNM!❤️❤️❤️ Even on the lowest setting still got cold time to time lol. Ome big complaint. Is the back 3rd row seats. Wish it was another 4 inches wider where you seat. Since I travel. With family members or buddies. I get sleepy and I have to get balled up. Stay on one side. Isn't really comfortable. The air on 3rd row seats are nice. But when sleeping or even sitting you are freezing to dealth where the doors are. Not the top part. The leather itself really holded up even after 3 years stock. Very durable. I'd give it a 8/10. Gas is game changer really like it. Headrest Backseats when laying down very uncomfortable can only sit one side . Rooftop. For a 5:11 guy I have to really crotch to go in and out the car. Automatic headlights annoying. But was able to change it to just staying on without having it turn the brighter lights on. Pros. Now. If your a family guy or need space this is the way to go. The speakers are pretty crazy. 7/10. The bass is ok. Wish it was louder and more bass. Not really the car but when washing it. You have to really get a ladder to wash the top or be able to dry it. Besides that highly recommend it man. But from experience with other cars that are the same length like mine well really suck when it comes to going in a very tight spaces for example parking lots. That you have to go in and keep making circles in order to find parking. Very tight to go through. Or airport might be. A little struggle but it well fit. Tires are good with stock. But if you plan on traveling alot with it you need to upgrade it to something bulky and nice tires so no glass or nails go through it. Besides that I have had nothing but a great experience with it. Really sad it got ripped apart out my heart lol. Has issues with it at the end. That won't happen to you guys. Can't say to much since the guys might find this comment. But upgrading from the 2020 to the 2022. Waiting and seeing if today if they have it available. In red stealth addition.

I'm a year late, but on the headrests, do you know if the 2020 model still had the "good" headrests or when did they change to the more uncomfortable version? Any idea if they're 1:1 replacements if you wanted to change from one to the other?

Those heardrests are similar to Toyota Highlander's, but Toyota's are worse. Push your head too much forward. Imagine driving a few hours like that?
