Best video for equipment, that I have ever watched. You hit a home run with this one. It covers the whole spread of fisherman and their needs. Congratulations!
One thing I found recently are Bait Binders. So you open it and there’s zippered pouches with clear windows, they are on binder rings to flip through them easily. Work great for plastics
My brother and I also use TB’s regular videos for buying tackle. There is so much out there it’s easy to get questionable quality. Matt and Tim always use the best stuff, so it’s easy to basically go off their recommendations and adjust as needed for my local water. Thanks guys! You make fishing fun and a heck of a lot easier for us guys who don’t fish for a living.
Thanks guys for all your diligence! I know it’s a ton of work to pump out the vids like you do. With that being said, the sale stuff this year at tacklewarehouse has been a bit clunky and to be frank frustrating. Hopefully next year they change it back!
Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about those sales. But we can say the best is yet to come and this series will end with the rod and reel combo videos everyone is missing 👍🏼
Used the Plano edge boxes for years ...several of them have warped from the sun which causes them to be difficult to close. Trying the buzz bee now. So far very impressed
I jumped on the Buzbe Colony 15 deal and got the boxes in two days. All I can say is WOW. These are the highest quality tackle boxes I have ever had. Now I MUST have more.
Absolutely love the Buzbe spinnerbait storage bag. Pure genius that will save me tons of space in my boat over the current storage option. That was a great find in this video, as was the rapala hair jig box. Those are two purchases I will definitely be making for my 2024 storage options.
I have made costly mistakes buying the wrong tackle management solutions, that turned out to be less solution and more problem. This video, however, has been Super helpful information to me and I feel hopeful. And I see the things that will most help me manage my tackle so again much appreciated. Thank you and Thank you both.
Thank you, Matt and Tim. Huge thumbs-up for including the bank angler in this Guide. Would love to see a Buyer's Guide dedicated to this oft-overlooked style of fishing sometime down the road. Good luck to those heading out to have a go at the bass today, and I hope everyone has a great Monday!
Tim/Matt. You guys are always thinking ahead❤ when it comes to winter and storage. Two takeaways: the plano reel storage doesnt fair well with spinning reels Last, not sure whats going on with TackleWarehouse. This year ‘s balck friday sale was a doozy. 😢
Spinning reels work great in there IF you remove the handles. And TW has definitely taken a new approach to the sales this year. There is still a lot more to come. We'll see how it went when we get to New Years 🤷🏼♂️
Great video per usual thanks for doing these Matt/Tim. P.S. agree and echo what many others have said this years TW sale is a bust. Definitely prefer the old format. I ordered several things from other sites.
Great video. Thanks for the great information. Have you checked out the KastKing boxes that are basically a knock-off of the Plano Edge boxes? I must say they are very comparable, and in fact I prefer their latch system over the one on the edge box. They stay securely closed better than the Planos. All this for about half the cost.😊
This was a great video on probably the most underrated aspect of fishing, but one of the most important. I'm constantly changing my bags and boxes as my needs change, and you have some products here, that will no doubt take more money out of my pockets. lol cheers!
Man. Y'all are killing this series. Covering all the goodies for us geeks who love fishing and tackle hoarding. Lol. I need to come down to chik and fish with y'all or if you come up the river to watts bar we can fish my backyard. Thanks fellas.
Great content guy's! I'm glad you mentioned Owner hook bonnets. They not only keep baits from tangling but they also protect those expensive hooks. I use them on all my hard baits.
Lmao. Got a $500 hinkle just buried at the bottom of a box. Tim couldn’t help but laugh. That one got me laughing. If you’re not into big bait world, you wouldn’t understand lmao but he had the “holy grail” of baits just thrown into a random box like that. 😂
I ran a camel pack for years and would take it on boats etc. Once I got my kayak I made a crate and finally got Plano edge boxes which are really nice and then you solved my problem for soft plastics. G9t two of the Buzbe and should be happy with them.
I still think the old Plano blue spinnerbait box is the best I don’t know why they quit making it but for organizing and number of baits, no one has beat it in my opinion.
This is always my favorite Black Friday video. I end up buying a new tackle bag/backpack/box every year, either upsizing or downsizing, since I can never get it quite right. That sunline bag looks like a perfect candidate for my soft plastics pond prowler storage this year 🧐
Thanks guys- I'll be investing in some of these. I can't tell you how many times condensation has messed up my plastics, hooks etc.. ziplock bags get old! Lol
I like those rod straps. I drive a jeep Cherokee and I keep about 15-20 rods in it year round, with that being said the tapping, clicking, clacking jitter jabber noise drives me insane. I've got a few of the rod socks but even without those the straps you showed would save me a ton of headaches and near death wrecks from separating my rods while going 88 miles an hour. Lol. (not really more like 8.8mph) 😂
🤣🤣 you have the price of a boat in tackle storage. At one time, many years ago, anglers used one big tackle box with slide out drawers. Boats were designed to accommodate the box. Usually in front of the console. Thanks for sharing your great information. Very helpful.
I must need to get at least 50+ tackle boxes by now since starting to watch your RU-vid Vids these last couple months 🤣🤣 . Just received another couriered box from TW today . Couple larger Shower Blows etc . My garage looking like a tackle store 😂 and couple shipments on the way still in next couple days . Cant keep up with you guys 🤪 . Bass here in South Africa don't understand whats coming their way LOL. Best channel out there . Thanks guy's makes Bassing exciting .
So sad the first time since I can’t remember I didn’t get a ton of stuff on TW Black Friday sale. Ended up getting it from other retailers. They beat them to the punch I don’t understand why they want to drag it out like that and ruin their website. People gets use to what they did for years and it worked great maybe it will work out for them but everyone is taking about they don’t like it
Thanks for the video, great stuff. Sadly this is the first time in MANY years I didn’t even spend 1 cent at tackle warehouse. Real bummer how they reworked the sale this year and in my opinion it was a disaster of a decision on their part. What are they thinking? SMH
We have no idea what their plan is. But zi can tell you there sale is no where near over. It's going for a few more weeks so you may yet find something you want.
Thank you guys for taking a deep dive into everything you do! I know this question might be unrelated to the video, but would you recommend a 7’ 2” MH expride for a lighter swim jig rod?
Great video! I just got a much larger boat and struggle with how to organize the open compartments. My boxes slide around quite a bit. Any videos or info on that?
I do like the girst thought of more tackle!! I went from a tracker pro 160 to a pro 190tx. It has the center rod locker and 2 open storage spaces on each side of it.
awesome video!!! i had a question on the buzzbee cubes is the medium deep or large deep good for storing keitech swim baits 2.8-4.3 it's hard finding storage for them?
The 1 question I have every year is keitech style swimbaits and the clam shells they come in. How do you stir them?? Buzbe sounds great but I doubt you can fit that many in them. I hope to hear a response and thank you for some other great storage ideas
@@tacticalbassin I've been using the flambeau 4510 boxes for the last year. Not a bad option but take up a lot of room and I have to cut the top off of every clam shell to make them fit. Thank you for the reply! I'll be trying that option this year for sure!! They always take up so much room but I feel like I have to carry a ton due to how many you can go through in a day
Not the 6th sense, but there are half a dozen brands making them now and we've tried a few. The only take away is the overall weight compares to normal sleeves.
Thank you! Ive tried the soft bags with inserts and 3700s. I wish someone would make a box specifically for jigs. That had them snap into place and wouldn’t bend the weed guards.
😎 One of my favorite -cheap- budget friendly storage systems is the harbor freight rolling tool box. I set my back pack into open top lid & can set it up for the next trip. the drawers fit a lot of gear & the bottom opening can stack boxes/buckets. Get one for every hobby ‘cuz They fill up fast! ✌️🤟🤙
