How are the forks? I hated the air forks on my 2015 Honda but these are supposed to be much closer to a spring fork feel. And I'm sure they only get better as the bike breaks in.
I feel like KTM went backwards with the 2019 and even more backwards with the 2023. The specialty of KTM was that the chassis was so compliant. And they keep making things stiffer and stiffer.
@@manuelshezad761 I’d say if u have the money go to either a 300 sx first bc they have good reviews but if not than yah 450 would be good just try the mellow or less aggressive mapping first for a bit bc that’s a big jump from 125 to 450 then once you feel comfortable on that then try the aggressive mapping. If u want to try something different do that but I’d recommend try this first and then make changes on it.
I started on a 450 bike. I used to ride quads and my quad had a built motor and was slightly faster than bikes. So for the the change was really from 4 wheels to 2 wheels and very similar power. In my opinion stock 450s aren’t fast enough to kill you like a 1000cc bike, but you can definitely gas it too much off a jump and end up really really hurt. So it’s a mix of your throttle control and how well you handle the speed
