The moment has FINALLY arrived! We are traveling to the jungles of Panama, to do a survey, and sea trial of our potential new boat, Boundless! She's a Passport 42, and oh man is she beautiful! Join us as we leave Seawind in the Bahamas, fly to Miami, and then across the Gulf of Mexico all the way to Panama City. We immerse ourselves in the tropical sights and sounds of this new place, go sailing with the owners Julian and Colin, and learn a bit about them and their sailing adventure.

Loved the view of the new boat. Your hike through the old military base was eye opening, monkeys ants, several different animals. To bad the old barracks couldn't be turned into apartments for people. Looking forward to your full purchase and life aboard "Boundless".

Though I have done if a mere fraction of the times I would like, I LOVE to do the dock walks. Unfortunately "security" issues over the past decades have made them vastly more "complicated" unless you are actually berthed within the borders...

Glad to have found your channel! You're fantastic! Looking forward to your adventures! Hubby and I purchased a 1979 41' CC Ketch Island Trader during Covid 2 years ago, sight unseen in another country (we're Canadians, boat is in Rhode Island) while we were still owners of our 34' Catalina- so I totally get THAT feeling (adding the dingy, we currently own 4 boats LOL!). Hubby is just today seeing the boat for the first time ahead of bringing it to Nova Scotia. Love the CC set up and layout of your boat, it's going to be a great liveaboard for your next adventures!

..... So of course, the US Cor of Engineers took over from the French building, completing the canal, The deserted base caused me to wonder if the US was no longer in Panama which would have surprised me being that the canal is such an integral part of world commerce. This prompted me to do the google thing, there are 16 US bases in Panama, quite interesting the range of bases from training to support facilities .... if you imagine the sounds of a active base in contrast to the peaceful sounds that you witnessed, quite something. .... Laughing ... have been pooped on by a bird and seeing the monkey poop, would definitely not want to be the target of that .... mum nature sure is amazing .. and to think that this is just a sampling of what you will experience on adventures aboard your new home anchoring in interesting bays and harbors around the world .... exciting times are ahead .... well done .... thx for the share ... as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....

We offered asking price "sight unseen" and made a deposit to hold the boat. That gave us time to organize flying to Panama to view it and do our self survey

Dude, don't take this wrong. Like your channel but your commentary is about as dry as month old bread, no emotion. Also multiple affirmations about how proud you are of Katie, listening to her am sure she has Mutiple degrees and is one smart lady so seems degrading but only my opinion. Funny you mention that, this Friday's new episode is a bit of a deep dive into part of the boat and looking at it in a very detailed way, for the first time since that whirlwind of 3 days doing the sea trial and initial survey.
