Buying a Brand New 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT!!?? 

Huge shout out to Alex from Porsche Mechanicsburg for letting us try out the all new 2024 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT! Do you think its worth the $75k to upgrade over our Mercedes AMG GLE 63? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

I am very impressed with Porsche and the fact that they don't depreciate as fast as others brands.

This is the second time I've watched your vlog, and for the second time, you've claimed to have bought a new car only to drive back in the car you arrived in. Your title would be more accurate if it said something like "Going to Test Drive a Car We Probably Won't Buy."

The 2024 Cayenne looks incredible, I like the headlights more than previous gens

The overall exhaust sound especially when downshifting would be enough to sell me. I am impressed with the interior specs for sure. I had a friend who's father sold Porsches and occasionally his father would go out of town to pick them up from other dealers. His father would give him the keys on a Sunday and we would do rood trips in them. Good Times! But Yes! I would trade in the Mercedes for this vehicle. Have an awesome day!

I traded my 2021 GLE 63 S AMG for a 2021 CPO Cayenne Turbo a week and a half ago. Love the Cayenne Turbo. Haven't been missing the GLE at all.

Porsche's are very good cars and my family has had many over the years. I got in a bad accident with mine recently as a driver hit my 2018 macan but now we have a fully speced 2017 macan turbo which is soo nice!

I just went from the GLE63s to the turbo GT and I must say the drive is not even comparable the turbo GT is just on another level. But comfort wise the GLE is wayyyyyyyy better by far

No panoramic roof is definitely a Deal Breaker 😢

This Cayenne is absolutely STUNNING! I drove the GLE AMG and it was quite harsh and I couldn’t believe the amount of interior plastics. The X6s interior felt well more luxurious and well made but I like the AMG aesthetically. I hate that the panoramic roofs on the standard Cayenne coupes don’t slide open. Overall, the new Cayenne coupe is a knock out!

We don't have the petrol particulate filter here in Australia ... so our cars sound the best !

Yep, you guys were thinking of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Basically, a manufacturer can't deny warranty unless they can prove that component caused the failure.

Why didn’t they offer a panoramic sunroof as an option on the GT. That much money and no sunroof at all, that’s my only gripe of the 2024 Cayenne GT.

For a day to day, the GLE is best. For weekend driving you can’t go wrong with the 911 series, they hug the corners nicely and sound great! The GT3 is meant for the track though, some like the rough suspension but I like the softness of the GTS. I’d like to see a comparison of a GT3 touring vs GTS Hybrid when they come out with it 💥

I see one of the Cayenne Coupe GTS on the road and it was absolutely stunning!!

turbo gt is a no brainer. the spec is nearly perfect and will really help the car retain its value. u can get rid of the benz now

As a gt3 guy who just traded it in on a Z06. There is absolutely no reason for carbon brakes on a SUV

Porsche is more Sporty, Mercedes is more Luxury

In my opinion, I would wait until Audi officially released the new 2025 RSQ8 Performance. Cause that thing is a beast, also considering it beat the Cayenne Turbo GT on the track.

Although they're both powerful SUV's but at their core, it's 2 different cars that appeal to different people. Mercedes is softer, it isolates you more from what's happening outside to make you like cocoon type or something. It's the Mercedes philosophy, it always has been. Porsche though is more focused in driving experience, appealing to your senses without losing a lot of the luxury and comfort of course but the way it delivers the driving experience is much more intense. I'd say follow your heart hahaha but of course we should also be rational, money isn't unlimited, there's priorities etc Christina loves the Merc that's for sure haha

We ditched out GLE63S when we realized that the throttle mapping was all off. The Wokesters basically got ahold of AMG and destroyed the brand. Much better in a Porsche. Will never go back.

Hey Jaret, man these Porsches are absolute beasts and dig them, but very narrow focused. They are track weapons pure and simple. As road going, if that's a person's tastes kool, but this is alot of bread over the luxury and the peace of mind. More car reviews please.

Between Porsche or Mercedes, for me its always Porsche, as it's simply definitely a better quality product.

I think you should trade the R8 for the 911, outstanding car that never gets old… classic design but soooo god compared to other cars. Also the Cayenne looks really really good, insane SUV

I would keep the Mercedes. The cost of the Porsche is not worth it unless you step up to a Urus.

That Porsche looks like a copycat of the GLE 63 coupe. For the price it is not justified. The grill is not pretty. If you just buy a car for the pipes that is real expensive. I agree with Mrs. Campisi. There’s nothing like a Mercedes.

One thing Porsche is not, is bulletproof. They are fun, beautiful cars that perform great the first 80k miles, but also money pits right after that!

Honestly... get over Mercedes by now - time to go over to the real german cars ;) As a german: I love Mercedes and honstely all the german high class brands but man, Porsche is just on another level. So classy and elegant if you need it but also sporty and not a show off aswell! If you want my opinion: Replace the GLE with the Turbo GT (it holds value even with day to day use!), and afterwards it wont take long to also replace one of your sportscars with a GT3 or GT3RS. That would be my dream garage if i was you ;) Btw: Not sure if you can get that in the US, but here in Germany, my absolute two car dream garage would be the BMW M3 Touring and a GT3RS. Best of both worlds, comfort and sportiness. But I get the point, you like SUVs, so go for the Turbo GT instead of the M3 :)

I have a 2024 Cayenne S w/ sport exhaust - sounds the same as the GT for a good margin less.

That Cayenne uses a ZF sourced torque converter automatic transmission...not a "single clutch"

No joke: Buy a Nissan Sentra and buy more bikes. ○Buy several more bikes to include Aprilia, MV, Triumph, Arch ○Outfit your smaller garage space with a number of high-quality motorcycle lifts (Handy) and appropriate lighting for filming ○Invite OTHER RU-vidrs to your space to mod the bikes It might be huge for the channel!

If you trade, get one with all the decals on it. It looks really cool like that!

Honestly , driving both , the GLE AMG and the Porsche Cayenne - the GLE has much more comfort and space inside ……

The only couple I know that buy a car based on the exhaust sound 😂

That GT3 RS is superb. I like the Cayenne but not sure Teens does or as much as the Merc anyway. Sounds good from inside, nice spec. And the black GT3 is lovely too buy buy buy! Keep the Merc buy the GT3. Expensive though. And your R8 is nice too. Who knows. Or get a cheaper 911 and modify it to look like a GT3 RS.

Hey guys, Porche is to Mercedes as Mercesdes is to Audi. Your mercedes is just more comfortable than that porche. I can feel it. The comfort you get from Audi, in terms of price to a Mercedes is always times 2 or even 3. Always test drive to see what I'm talking about. Like the price you bought your mercedes, if you spend the same amount for an Audi, you will surely be blown away for the comfort you will get. Don't get me wrong, I'm emphasising only on price and comfortability, not sound or power. I remember when a friend got the mercedes G-Wagon, I was so excited to drive with him but when we drove out, all my excitement baloons exploded. My Audi Q7 that was 3 times cheaper was way better comfortable.

I think for the money the merc and Audi are best. After that it just gets silly. You should look at the defender. Urban are doing some sick mods that I’ve seen on the roads over here in London

Have you had issues where the collision control randomly activates for no reason or try to drive you off the road? Sold mine back to the dealer. The vehicle protection system has been having issues since 2019 but now we can’t permanently disable it!! Soo upset. Hope it works out for you.

I actually own a 2022 Porsche Cayenne turbo and I love love it but for you I think you should keep the Mercedes SUV and get the Porsche 911 GT3

imo yes id trade the Merc with the Porsche, maybe do a double swap lol, R8 for the GT3 RS :P , Kristina seems be a no go for Porsche in general lol that said sounds like you guys already made your mind up, cant justify the extra $$$$ cheers

Great Car but.. you’re pronouncing Porsche wrong… it’s PorSCHE with emphasis on SCHE! Ordered mine in May and I will be getting it first or second week of September. Can’t wait. Beautiful car And the performance is top-notch, I drove the GLE 63 and was not impressed.

You should try out the Cayenne GTS, same budget as your GLE 63 but very close of driving dynamic to the Turbo GT but obviously with less horsepower.
