Yeah, I screwed up the relocation, got teleported back to Plymouth, then figured out how to assign myself and my truck to Milan. So eventually I got everything sorted out. I'm thinking to do roughly the same thing. But a second truck (cheap Iveco probably) for my first driver, although I might drive it around to get the 999 kilometers to unlock that brand for the achievement, then get a Volvo (or Scania) for myself to upgrade. So many things to do and get. Fun times! Thanks for stopping in as always!

Luxembourg is probably a great place to start the game, and you get the achievement for having a garage in every garage in your home country. (There is only one. :) ). I hope you enjoy the game. I really should add some podcasts or music to my drives, but I find that I hit things when I'm not paying attention. :)

Yes, it comes up in Episode 67: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vOBeGeibdrU.html I ended up not using it that much because it requires two cameras when recording video for the game, which is kind of a pain for me to set up. If I weren't recording so much gameplay, I think I'd use it all the time. It worked quite well. :)

I've read somewhere since I made this that in terms of driver business it doesn't matter where you put your base, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. The thing that I don't enjoy about Milan is that the pickups in the city are usually a long drive across the city from the garage. And Milan is a bit tricky to get north with the mountains. I think you're right, that somewhere in southern German might have been a really good choice. ~ There is an achievement out of Istanbul for three long drives, so if you do it that way you can get the achievement for it. I think I did an episode where we did one of the long drives. Fun times. :)

The World of Trucks jobs (External Contracts) pay more than others regular freight contracts. Could that be the reason?

@@ZillaBlitz Even the External contracts only pay me up to 40k I saw on your video one paid 80k I wish I could get a job that pays that it would really help 😂

@@KarimOneill Do you have your long distance skill maxed out? That's a good one to prioritize, because distance pays pretty well.

I think the thinking at the moment is "the cities with the most industries," so probably a place like London would be best for your hired drivers.

I think you can quick travel to your garage if you pick the city its in to quick travel there. But I'd also ask, if you're just beginning, "Is there a reason you need to go there?" You can pick up a job anywhere. :)
