Update: Traveling between garages has been patched. However, when you take boats, time still passes so if you head down to Spain and take a boat from there to Italy, a lot of time will pass and you'll make a lot of money, provided that you have drivers who earn a decent amount of money.
While playing Elite Dangerous, i eventually noticed that once i had earned enough money to buy and upgrade all the ships i wanted, i suddenly had nothing more to achieve, so i was more or less stuck doing ship combat. As fun as that is, it still gets monotonous, so having some grind to mix it up is essential IMO. Everyone wants to reach the "end game", but when you get there, chances are you will get bored pretty quickly...
Just a few days of gaming and I have 5 garages with 25 drivers. All you need to do is travel between harbours always, which will reduce your driving time and game hours will be easily passed, now most of my drivers are managing to bring more than 10,000 euros per work. And I have 2 cargos per garage, for me fuel tankers are most profitable.
Did ets2 noticed this already? Because its not working for me now. When i travel from 1 place to another its still the same time and day. Im not sure whats happening.
I found an easiest step by mistake, I gave my drivers upgraded trucks that I can drive sometimes because of the lack of garage slots, after setting the training priority, you can just select and drive the truck of any driver in route, the game will tell you that you can drive it after X hours, press yes, and the game will fast forward those hours to make the truck available, rinse and repeat with other trucks. I made 3 Millions in just 30 minutes and leveled up all my drivers, by selecting another truck to drive everytime. (really surprised that this can be done and SCS is not willing to patch it) Don't forget to always change the training priority after each fast forward, because some of them will have full bars already. and this will make you more money. (I guess I'll add realistic economy mod because everytime I wanna drive another truck I get around 250k-300k, it's becoming annoying haha)
I have a loan in the bank every time i switch to a driver the money goes down is it because of the bank or are is the game charging me for switching trucks I had 75 000 switched to a driver and it was 71 000 The bank takes 8 676 pls help
A new trick that still works as of now is traveling from the port close to Amsterdam (IJmuiden) to the port of Tyne near the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The trip takes more than 16 hours and costs over 1200€ but if you have a couple of drivers, you can make a lot of money. It also makes sense to take loans to expand more quickly and get more truckers. Just give them the cheapest Iveco truck, you can put in all the cheap equipment until the price is at about 92k €.
I wasn't aware of this trick before but accidentally applied the trick to my game in ATS. I had 4 garages and almost all of them fully upgraded with 5 drivers and trucks per garage. This trick works but just needs sometime because once the ball gets rolling you will end up gaining real hefty profits. It's like beating the game on its own logic 🤣
I never fast travel, sure it's faster, but i play the game to drive. Also I never buy the cheapest trucks, I like to customize them and have all my employees have the same truck with same features, but it's never the cheapest truck, I ain't that rich. I prefer doing jobs with employer's trucks in the beginning, since drivers working for me require their own trucks to work and I don't. I don't know if it's smart, but the first truck I buy is never the one I will be driving
I only fast travel to my garages usually the one in Aberdeen,Dover n Plymouth😅,I just imagine I was there then fast travel😅,I should add you as a friend

New best way is to change the trucks again and again. Your drivers if already on job will take time to swap and this time gets skipped when you swap the trucks . Try it. Ez money
While ET2 is a nice game, its economic is fully garbish. :D If you plan on starting like that, you simply could get your first garage in one corner of your map like Aberdeen or somewhere else, depending on your dlcs. Also, when you create your profile, choose Iveco as your preferred truck modell. That way you get to know the location of one Iveco dealer from the start. While traveling now costs money, I really dont see, why sleeping all day shouldnt work too? Only big difference should be, that you have to click 3 times for each passing day. But who doesnt want to earn money while sleeping? Doing it that way, you even might not need a second garage to start with and upgrading you tiny starting garage to medium might even be cheaper than buying a small one directly. Aside from that money is never really an issue in this game. The game is about driving trucks around and not hoarding money. If you do the first, you usually will never have problems with money anyways.
I was literally f***ed up on starting without knowing how to earn money and bought a lots of loan and had dwbt a more 😂....so here comes this man as a man of rescue...This trick work as hell...thnx dude❤...you earned a Sub👀
@@g0dseye80 Well, you see, we have different opinions. This might not be the complete best content on this platform, but I can at least support a small creator. Also, did you use the word “lad” seriously?
Old Post. But using an ingame exploit is cheating 😆. But it'll get boring fast as you'll max out everything etc. Bit like Skyrims alchemy loop. Make a fork with 200mil damage, get bored within five minute's 😅😅😅😅😅.
I think the best way to play the game is kind of the hard way. I Grind Until 100K Or Max 200K in my opinion, then buy a garage, then hire a driver and then Do some employee trucked jobs. I am currently at 137K Euros, And I didn't borrow any money at all from the back because my last few accounts were a fail because of the Debt of the money in the Bank, but overall I wish anyone playing the game to fell easy and get money fast so they can do their thing.
I've never had a problem taking the 400k loan? I played once "hard core" and it takes so long to raise enough money and you dont progress nearly as fast.
Yeah, the fast travel exploit was patched, but the one that still should work is spamming ferries. Just take a job, spam ferry rides for a few weeks, get angry customer with late product, laugh in their face while handing over their mile long ferry bill, reap profit from your other drivers.
Can someone help me If I fast travel to a other garage like Dover to Bratislava it takes money and I don't make a profit . And the Day and time is always the same . Pls help me
Fuck !!! I didn't read all the comments here but just the top ones where everyone says " thank you, works ".. Now I have 500k debt and I spent 3h to travel to Aberdeen 🙃
Do you guys have the same problem? When i quick Travel to skip the time and get the money, at my game i quick travel but it doesen´t skip the time so i don´t get the money. How should i fix that pls help me!!!
I'm guessing they want money first then satisfaction. Either way, I don't really see what's the point of the game when you can't progressively just climb up the ranks and get more money. It's taken me almost 2.5 years to get to where I am (31M in euros).
i can‘t do it, because 1) must to pay for traveling 2) the time is the same, it‘s monday 19:00 then when i travel it‘s still 19:00, and i‘m from Istambul to Aberdeen !!! Help me Please
quick travel was patched, but ferry spamming should still work. You just have to get a few angry customers with very late products and mile long ferry bills that they have to pay for.
@@AnoukhHellstream oh yeah that job i think from napoli to cagiliari, you can travel back and forth to barcelona skipping about 25 hours each time, i got bored with the game after it
I also did that, and I can confirm that I never reach more than 100km/h, I removed it only to not slow down sometimes when there's a hill in a highway.
