OK kids I'm guessing the new property is a Hotel and trailer park near sand hollow, and this is going to be your rental fleet, because you love to share your passion with all of us, just don't forget the hawk tua on the 4 low shifter 🤣😂🤣
Nice score on the red Liberty. Too bad about the leaky one. Passing it up makes me think you are not gutting the mechanicals. I don’t know what you are going to do with them, but my imagination is running wild! So good to see Chris and Pam! Miss y’all! Poor Brittney has to arrange furniture alone? LiteBriteNationLifeChanges!
Idc what anyone says I lifted 3 libertys and they did amazing off road , Just note the oil gauge quits working around 190xxx And if you want a skid plate it came on 02-04 Limited edition I had a 02 with one Only found them on limited edition, Got a free steel bumper if your interested just needs brackets made .
So I used to do track time at the Shelby yearly national convention SAAC, and they allow any ford powered vehicle. When the convention was on the other side of the country I would rent mustangs and drive them at the even then return them. One year me and a friend decided to go to MIS for the SAAC convention. I lived in VA and he lived in NC. He rented a mustang from the CLT airport and met me in western VA. We loaded into my 30' enclosed trailer which had my track car in it. We drove to MIS. After two days of driving the rental on track my friend had fried the front brakes. The local dealer gave him a replacement car. They refunded his entire rental cost because they felt sorry that it had left him stranded. "Drive it like you stole it"
Considering you are talking about 16inch wheels, must have skid plates, no serious leaks, I'm throwing my guess out there that you are going to start your own off-roading basic/master course where customers follow you on obstacles, you teach them about how airing down can make or break getting unstuck or having more traction, but losing ground clearance, and so on. That's my guess. :)
Awesome to see you hanging with Chris and Pam! I am guessing some type of stock class rock crawling considering you would like skid plates for the fuel tank.
i had a 2005 renegade.."The Liberty Renegade has seen the most change for 2005, having been fitted with a flatter hood, taller grille, off-road foglamps and taillamp guards. The Renegade now has functional rock rails, four skid plates, and new options, such as taller P235/0R16 all-terrain tires, a GPS navigation radio and an overhead light bar. "
Really great to see Chris again. Kevin are you starting the cheap jeep tour's? Can't wait to see how many you get and how many people jump on board with your idea. Chris should straight axel swap them now before you take them off road. God bless Kevin and Brittany lite Brite Nation. Can Chris please start a RU-vid channel 🙏
This was filmed months ago. He essentially bought & filmed it all, and then handed all of the footage to me once he finished to edit and post (he explained this). 😁
There was a Liberty that ran around my college town with 22" wheels on it. We called it the roller skate. I'm sure that's not what you're doing, but if you have any left over at the end you can build yourself a roller skate for laughs.
I feel like you bought some land with trails, and you're going to rent the Jeeps and teach off-roading. Perhaps the land will have camping on it as well. 5 Jeeps is a nice number for running off-roading tours too. We did a Jeep tour thing in Aruba and it was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to this adventure.
skid plates come only on the renegade edition. I had a 07 liberty limited. Loved it. wheels the crap outta it. I did a 2.5" life, 30" tires. very capable and fun lil jeep. more capable then people think it is.
i own a liberty kj for 6 years and rockcrawll it ,in my EREA it's the best value for our money we can get ! have fun i think its better than a wrangler in the same age & miles .
I got the front skid plate for the KJ… you can have it but I live in Louisiana so may not be worth the trip to pick them up… plus I bet the party already started… I used to have the gas tank plate too but installed it on a Liberty I sold already… never saw the transfer case plate but did see them on print… you can find them all day long in Pull-A-Part… try there…
I used to own an 04 liberty renegade. It was a fun little jeep, gutless as all hell though lol. Had factory rock rails and a couple skid plates, factory light bar etc
I wouldn't feel too bad about not buying the leaky one, the fact that they dressed the engine bay with armor All shows they were trying to distract from it.
I have a set of 16 in factory liberty renegade wheels in Colorado and couple of spare parts from my wife’s KJ they also come with factory rock sliders and all the skid plates my wife’s have them all but the gas tank one
Kevin if you look at the specs a KJ liberty only has a 1” less clearance than a JK Rubicon from the factory .. and ya need 06 and 07 KJ , they have brake lock diffs..
I went to trade in my 01custom Monte SS for a California Mustang(only 115miles on it)…well the salesman didn’t go on the test drive with me. I smoked the tires at every light and did the e brake in a parking lot. I had to wait a couple minutes for everything to cool down b4 taking outback. I kept my Monte cause the pony felt so coffin like, the hp didn’t sell it at all
I suspect that you are setting up a simple E3 off-road 4x4 school for people that do not have a 4x4. Liberties are decently capable but the front lift is very limited because of the stress on the aluminum diff. Skid plates are very important. I had a renegade but I bought aftermarket skids so that the skids would be frequently used because the tires were so small. I also bought a ARB locker for the rear because the limited slip wasn’t great in west coast boulders even with the ebrake. I now have a JKU on 38’s which I enjoy even more.
Ok, so my guess is to turn them into a 4 place side by side. Since you don't care about the body, you are going for a chop top, with full roll cage. Either that or you got a great deal on a bunch of old Willys bodies, so you can going to do a conversion. A Willys body on a Liberty chassis.
I think i dont care what you are doing. I just know its going to be fun and want to be one of the 4 people of the 5 that gets to be included in whatever it is. Lol
