Iron Bull makes a very nice trailer, great choice!

First thing I do when purchasing a new trailer is check the tires. If they are the infamous China bomb tires then spend the money up front and replace them. I just did a 14K skid loader trailer we bought a few months ago. The tires were brand new but made in China. They will blow out for no reason. We replaced them with load range G, 14ply, tires and no more worries.

Agreed 14 ply tires on a 14k trailer is a must. Not sure why they even come with 10 plys. I actually started running 16 ply on my 14k dump trailer. My 20k super single equipment trailer takes 18 ply tires on a 18.5 rim that is hub centric, the lug nuts aren't tapered, all the load is carried by the hub instead of lugs. Now those are stout!

Funny thing you say that about the safety chain. I just purchased a new PJ equipment drive over fender trailer 102"w 24 ft long with monster ramps mid March 2023. On the way home 25 miles from dealer - I have my rear window open and I hear a safety chain dragging. Thinking I knew I had plenty of clearance when I hooked up. I pull to the shoulder and sure enough I have a chain dragging still hooked to the hitch but not the trailer. I crawl under the tongue and the chains on my trailer are adjustable on the trailer tongue. You can remove a 3/8"pin and adjust your chains by placing the pin in anther link of the safety chain shortening or lengthening them as needed for different height vehicles. Hardened 3/8" steel pins are held in place with a cotter pin through double 3/8" thick tabs welded to the tongue. They didn't put a cotter pin to hold the 3/8" pin to the trailer so the 3/8"pin vibrated out causing the chain to fall to the ground. So I check the other side no cotter pin on that side either and that 3/8 pin securing the chain is nearly vibrated out on that side as well. Not a super big deal but I thought the same thing - main safety point of the trailer why isn't it done right.

Congrats on the trailer. I fit an E20 and S70 on a 16ft Pj dump with 4ft walls. It’s a tight fit but it works. A 20-22 flat bed is def in my horizon to make things easier. Thanks for posting

Love that tool box, probably the coolest thing I’ve seen on a trailer

I think its my favorite feature about the trailer.

Glad to see you went with a flatbed vs a tilt trailer! I think we talked before about trailers on a previous video of yours. Iron bull looks good. I recently upgraded to a 22' pj with two 10k torsion axles but still on single wheels. I love it! I can haul my mini and skid at the same time (asv rt40 & kx040). Looks like you're ready for a single axle dump truck now!

sounds like you have a pretty cool set up. I traded up to a 5500 this year and I want to eventually put a dump bed on it.

@@triplesticks oh nice! Did you get a ram or Chevy 5500? Check out my channel if you get some time I have some excavating and hauling videos with my new-to-me single axle dump truck.

That tool box could be a bathtub! I was looking at a 16k myself.

I have had the 22' version for about a year now and have had minimal issues. Tires are a little cheap and the jack handle is a joke, but other than that it has been great. I always haul within the limits of the payload but there is a guy hauling a kx080 around here with the same exact trailer, if nothing else it's a testament to their durability!

I will second…that iron bull makes a good trailer. Here in Pa they’re popular. Also I think the dumpster idea is a no brainer. I use them a lot …load and forget, so to speak. Just think of all the extra time you can spend on site gitten r done!! Good luck with the new purchase!!!!! Game changer for sure!!!

You bought a trailer you knew nothing about? Ridiculous.

😂 it’s a trailer man, it’s not that big of a deal. I could tell it was worth buying just by looking at the pictures. My judgment call was fine, I’m still running this trailer with no issues
