We love Once Upon a Child too! I really appreciate your willingness to shop for pieces you know will be practical & look good paired together, while also considering and seeking out pieces each child would like/is interested in. It really shows your dynamic as a mom - paying special attention to each child’s enjoyment while still maintaining a compatible wardrobe!
Really fun tip for if kids loves a certain character - order some iron on patches of that character to add to clothes for them. Super cheap way to have clothes that they will like more 💕
We use Once Upon a Child often to shop too. I find it fairly expensive compared to the small thrift stores I have in my area but sometimes when in a pinch I can typically find what I need there.
The clothes are so big 😭! I remember when you were shopping for 4 year old Eloise and 3 year old Theo!! I was shocked when you said Eloise is almost 7! Time fliessss
I love thrifting! I got my kids some new things when we went to the states from target but when we got back ( to Canada ) I did a massive once upon a child haul I love it so much there I got so much stuff for them there
Omg I have that exact same pink romper for my daughter! It was given to us by a friend. She just recently out grew it so I’ve been looking everywhere trying to find the next size up lol
Would you ever do a walk through of all your kids fall/ winter clothes just showing the clothes not try ons? I feel like because you guys are so minimalistic they probably have somewhat of a capsule wardrobe for themselves you’ve made and would love tips and ideas to minimize kids clothes!
I have 3 little girls close in age i look on fb marketplace and find large lots of clothes in their sizes for a good price keep what i like and take what i dont to once upon a child i actually make money getting my kids clothes this way! Just thought someone might benefit from this idea lol makes my husband happy to not have to spend money on kids clothes as we want a big family❤
We're moving soon and the closest once upon a child will be an hour away! I'm so sad! Right now we have one across the street. And several more within a 15 minute drive. 🤦🏻♀️
We just did a massive shop at OUAC for our 3 girls. Yes, it's so so hard to find age appropriate clothing for girls when they're out of toddler sizes. We prefer our children to look like children, not soccer moms in leggings and UGGS. (it's adorable, but not our speed) We returned lots but did find some long Bermuda shorts, loads of Hanna Andersson dresses, some Tea dresses, and lots of new with tags Cat and Jack shirts.
I just went thrift for my 6yo daughter and really struggled finding clothes for her that were modest, quality and able to be played in. I'd love a video of Eloise wardrobe and how you dress a preteen and perhaps even how you discuss modestly with a child who doesn't need to understand sexualization but still needs a good foundation for modesty?
Wow I’m one of the first 3 comments!!! That’s pretty exciting:) also I love the thrift hauls! Thanks for the video it was lovely and really cute clothes:)🌻
