Nice video. I like it that you mention to start inspection when it's cold. Sometimes cars with worn out valve seals/piston rings will smoke when cold, then not smoke after it's warmed up
It's interesting that I didn't think of that. I had a Fiero with so much blow-by that the engine would squirt oil out of the seals. To keep that from happening I drove with the oil cap off. This turned the oil inlet into a smokestack. I routinely had people on the road warning me my car was on fire. I would wave them off and say, no... it's just a Fiero.
Chevy Bolts are 75% of a Tesla for half the price. Make sure it's had the battery recall done if it's older than 2018. Make sure it has DCFC, that's the two extra prong holes on the charge port, usually covered by an orange or black flap. Check the tires, suspension, all the non-engine stuff he mentioned in the video. It's mostly the same. I got mine in 2019 for $15,000 and have loved it. Blast to drive, and really cheap too.
