Not every state requires a title to get a tag.

Louisiana needs a title for the trailer as well. That missing title can cause havoc.

The prices vary widely depending on where you are and the time of year. Here in Maryland near the bay it seems stuff often goes for way too much. One like that, in that exact condition would be $1,000 easily (as long as it had a title).

Man, I'm in Arizona anything that has to do with outdoors goes for top dollar, like ATVS, campers boat's dirtbikes, here that would at least go for $1200 or more !

I bought a 52 CC air cooled 4 stroke Hangkai motor. It's a super smooth light replacement for the trolling motor, which I'd give away.

up north here? I find these for 150-700 all the time though no front deck.. yet I find many with 4-10 HP motor and also older bass boats for under $2000 yet they weigh too much for the family mobile.. Being "winter" i am grabbing a 14' v hull with a 9.9 merc and trailer for $1700! (I can currently grab 14' jons used for 150- 500 used all over

I would start negotiating with him at $600, and go up to $7-800 the most if the paperwork was in order and depending on if the trailer is in immediate usable shape.

Boat prices are really regional, but around here, that boat would be around $800. The boat I've been building is a 1436 and was about the same shape as that one and came w/ a 7.5 hp outboard, TM, battery, battery charger, and s few other extras and I got it for $600. But I also bought it in the winter time.

Couldn't help but notice the Carvins Cove sticker on it. That's where I do most of my fishing. Unfortunately at the moment I'm just renting their row boats. Hope to pick me up something like this next spring. I live in Troutville.

If both the boat and trailer are titled, in Eastern PA - $1000-1200 (if trolling motor worked), if trolling motor didnt work about 400 less.

First before I even go look at it in person, if your state requires it, you gotta ask "Do you have a clean title in hand?" In my state if they answer no to that you're better off looking elsewhere for a other boat. Now if that one had a title, I'd give $300 for the boat and $600 for the trailer boat combo. I live in Kentucky, so these things are laying around everywhere luckily. If you live someplace else you may have to shell out more money for one

It looks like a 500 boat. Fix it up and clean it, expand the deck, then flip it for 1000, if the trolling motor works.

That’s a $400-$500 boat in Indiana. I’ve seen them go for as little as $200 set up like that. I just bought a 14’ Jon boat, by itself, for $150, delivered. I’ll clean it up and let it go for $350.

I just bought a John boat for $1200 in excellent shape, boat and trailer with electric motor. Boat and trailer in excellent condition. Other than driver side tail light needs to be replaced.😊

I'm being offered one right now for $250, but hesitating on it cause it has no title and I would like a trolling motor on it and to have a trolling motor on it we need to have it registered. My daily dilemma...lol How much were they wanting after all?

My husband is selling an almost pristine Jon boat with a trailer. Boat is titled but the trailer isn’t but he’s had it 3 years and never had an issue. I’m sure it’s solvable but should he come down on the price because there’s no title to the trailer?

You forgot the 2 most important questions.... Does the boat have a watercraft certificate (title) and does the trailer have a title. May not matter to some, but if you customize it and want to get your money back out of it , it does matter. Have been down that road before.

What should you look at when inspecting the axle of the trailer?

Actually I would hook it up and drive it down the road a few miles while checking the trailer as I drive and then look for grease when you park it, or listen for that sizzle from bad bearings
