Buying and Owing a Four Track - What You Should Know 

There’s aftermarket PSU’s you can usually find online, but the quality isn’t as good as the originals, which is why they can become pricey. I like my Tascam because the cable is hard wired to the unit - which is a pain to replace because it’s soldered to the board, but the part can be found anywhere.

I remember the Yamaha much used in Mexico during 80 s and 90 s....salutings...

You need to work with stereo bouncing. We have another video that goes over bouncing, but it’s not in stereo. I’m working on a video where I stereo bounce and you’ll see how it’s done.

@@magicspiral3323 Ok thanks for responding. I need know can these machines record all tracks at the same time of only one at a time?. I mean it has four inputs? Like I stated im just in the baby stages i could've learned faster when I younger but hey im on my bucket list now. i mean i know what is for and what i can do but i just need to know to how to record each track i use the buss for record one (first) track and see the meter going then i go playback and record next (second) track with the first one but it doesnt show first meter running why or am I not doing something correctly? do i record in pan straight up or on left then right for second track?

noobspoons123 it’s only important if you plan to use the deck to play regular cassettes. I do have to say that it’s fun to experiment with.

@@NikoNoxious cool, thanks for the tip. I tried RTM Fox tape and the quality wasn't there, but I'll give a Maxwell a go

@ericvannielsen I thought the same thing. The high end Deadstock tapes really are in a class of their own. I did notice RTM high end tape outperformed every other modern tape making it my go to for duplicates
