"Just do it" - Why didn't we think of that? Probably because nobody can afford to buy on this island now that it's overwhelmed by investors, greedy locals and impossible prices. Isn't it incredible that a run down shack can be on the market for 200,000 euros? The island is ruined with zero possibility of the native islanders even being able to buy a home let alone land.

We recognise the cost of living crisis in the Balearics, a challenge that many popular destinations around the world face as their communities grow. This is a big topic to break down in our comments section, but we wanted to share a few areas we focus on as local residents and as a local business: We educate our clients on the areas they buy, so that they too have a better understanding of the complexities that exist in their new community; we connect home owners to local businesses, to ensure the money being spent in these villages is circulated as much as possible; we are active in local government conversations where solutions are being designed, tested and implemented to support a healthier cost of living for all.
