I ordered a Seiko Baby Tuna from creationwatches. It arrived in the UK very quickly BUT I did get whacked for the Import Duty. Which was very annoying, but even including the duty it still worked out nearly £50 cheaper than anywhere else lose on line. So on the whole I can’t complain as I still saved 50 quid.
I don't think people mind paying taxes if it's clear when you hit the buy button. It's also not clear its being shipped from outside of the EU, Singapore. Customer service seems poor. I was landed with a 35% charge at customs.
:) I think you just got lucky regarding no taxes, because you should have paid VAT at least, for any import coming from outside EU. But I guess creation declares a lower value than it should be. I haven't made an order from Creation in some time, maybe I should give it a try especially since I moved to CZ recently, to see if I can get lucky too :) - unlikely though, because I already ordered couple of watches from US, that came via Ceska Posta, on of it costing 55$ (really, not under-declared) and still, they asked to see receipt from PayPal etc. so I still paid around 475 CZK, for VAT + some handling fees of Ceska Posta.
It is the same story what others experienced, some people get caught ( i mean we all should be "caught" and some don´t. If it is a letter, you have pretty big change to get away without charges but of course it is just a pure luck, all customs chargers are responsibility of a buyer, this is just what i have experienced with two different shipping methods :)
My dad just ordered a Seiko watch from creation watches. It came scratched and the thing was broken. We took it out the box and shook the watch gently and you can hear a bunch of random stuff chattering inside the watch like stuff is loose and broken inside the watch. It didn't work. It was as if the watch was worn and thrown out or something. Also their return policy is that creation watch is not responsible for sending you damaged / broken watches so you would have to pay for shipping to Singapore and depending on where you are the return shipping actually costing MORE then the watch itself. For some reason international shipping out of asia is dirt cheap but to ship to asia from places like Toronto is like 10 times the price. Never buy from creation watch. Sure you are paying a fraction of the price but is it worth the crushing disappointment of getting a broken watch or a fake watch then being told to pay for return shipping? Lesson here is buy from a authorized dealer. Not grey market watch resellers that sell fakes and 2nd hand broken watches, with no customer service.
Your comment prevented me from buying a watch from there. Sadly, I can't find the Seiko 5 I want anywhere in Brazil that's not overpriced. It's almost the equivalent to US$ 300,00 for a single watch without box, manual or guarantee. Hope I find any trusty store.
I chose DHL Express for the cost of £6.99 with no tax or extra charges promised to the UK(hopefully), been more than 4-5 days now and my order number just says “shipped” on CW, but on dhl apparently it doesn’t exist, bit concerned now
@@olivercoombes6351 can you go into details on which watch you ordered, whether there were any fees and if it’s real or fake? Do they come with manufacturers warranty, is it insured getting to you and all sorts as I’m in the UK and would love to know too because these prices seem incredible! Cheers!
I like what they selling but I don't like an extra charge from DHL on the door I have to pay extra $41 taxes and other fees. They know u will pay extra but they hide from costumes and no warranty and for any other reason u need to pay for a return shipping from Toronto to Singapore other 40 dollars something. I do not recommend never again...
I bought a watch on Creation Watches and they sent me a wrong cheaper model. Had to pay taxes and all they said is that they refund 7USD for shipping expenses so I can send the watch back and they would send another one. Sounded like a joke because the tax was already paid and shipping costs way more than 7 USD. Never ever buying there again.
Creationwatches are not good to deal with, if you look around prices are much better with other dealers, plus they will help you a little on the import taxes, if you catch my drift.
po prípade máš skúsenosti z inými distribútormi? Som v tom úplne nový, chcem si kúpiť moje prve mechanické hodinky a neviem kde pozerať. Momentálne študujem v Prahe tak aj nejaké Česke obchody by som mohol skúsiť ale nemám žiaden prehľad zatial.
i have never had any problems with them, but even here some people wrote they have had few issues, it is up to you, but you never know for 100 percent i have bought 5 watches so far, all working great
its not about the watches brother, of course they're having good quality watches. but just be alert in choosing the shipping method. bcos ive paid 60 euros for skx007.
terrible company, with absolutely ZERO customer service, pay the extra, buy locally or from a reputable source and be assured that you are getting a genuine piece that will have some customer service available for it. TRUST ME ON THIS.
hey flesh what is everyone talking about import taxes and shit im from usa idk what they mean is this watch 200 or not im ordering from creationwatchs and are they legit?
Hi, yes they are legit, still i read some stories online from unhappy customers. To this day i ordered 4 watches, all new, all work well. You can be hit by customs, to pay additional money and that will be paid through your postal service / for example if it will be DHL they will charge you extra"/
