What i think is so amazing about you is of course your knowledge, but also your ability to listen to people and ask for what they are looking for. Your little interviews with the owners of the fish are amazing. You are really a gift to the hobby and also a great source of information. You sound so nice and thoughtfull as well as the fact that you are honest to your audience. I wish more people were like you, but then again you are your own person and very unique!

I don't know why I feel some breeds suffer a lot for their physical shape:( Maybe I am wrong but I have like aquatic pugs vibes of some morphs

Madeleine r yes they do, every species of animal that is bred suffer some breeding defects. Even farm animals do. But fish suffer sometimes due to fin size, such as beta fish specifically they suffer sometimes because their fins are so big and heavy they don’t live long as their fins are to heavy when they get older. In my opinion dog breeding is the worst in the way it affects the animals because people have gone to far and it affects breathing and bone structure etc. where as fish do suffer problems from breeding it’s mostly just makes aspects of life difficult, especially later in life.

I tried to pick mine up yesterday to move them but they're scared wild fish that weren't used to people so we couldn't, they were trying to jump onto the floor from the tank. So we had to use a net which caused them to lose a couple of scales each.

I just realized something...what kind of table to you think they put the show tanks on? Under the blue plastic they look like those cheap white plastic folding tables but that wouldn't be able to hold up the hundreds of pounds of water on them.

Greetings from England! I must admit I am not too keen on the really chunky varieties of goldfish (no criticism intended). I especially like some of the wakins and shubunkins, also the koi. The 4 koi at 22:35 make a perfect selection. I have just discovered your channel and really like it, apart from being insanely jealous of your boyfriend!
