I know neighborhoods look nice..but when buying a house go through that neighborhood at night. You know when you want to see something in the light of day? See in the light of night I say that to say. A neighborhood can be quiet during the day and not so quiet during the night. New or Mid New or older
I agree 100 percent on that! You are very right. All the property we saw was amazing neighborhoods. Clean and well maintained homes. I thought those types of noise were in those spaces.
Also, go see the house, on the weekend. In addition, interview the neighbors. Lol. I recall, moving into my first home, and didn't know the neighbor husband died and left her the house, which she was addicted to herion and her kid was incarcerated for a year. In turn, son came home and was a problem. Just knock on your prospective neighbor's doors and ask others in neighborhood about your neighbors
Also, always check on how the frontage of the house and immediate area are during rainy days. Ask neighbors does the area tend to flood, etc. Congratulations 🎊 👏🏾 💐
The kitchen is the heart of a home… the way you guys prepare your very appealing meals?? I feel that the kitchen should compliment them. 😊House #1 kitchen seemed to do just that. Although the rest of the house could’ve been a tad bit better. This will be a MAJOR purchase so take y’all time in choosing your new home. Just my thoughts 😏
The lighting in the kitchen/living room from all of the windows in House #2 was so wonderful, but I agree with what your husband said about structure - the drawback is how the rooms are proportioned doesn't feel like the most optimal use of space. Can't believe a bathtub was spared from the primary suite! And the pantry was similar sizing to an apartment's, but maybe the cabinetry would comp. The stair railing is so cute in House #1, plus it's open so it adds to the overall lightness of the rooms. Seems more spacious overall. The primary bathroom was well arranged and generously sized.
The first house is nice.. Therenis more space especially in the kitchen area. You also get more for the price. The 2nd house looked very crowded. Even though it was big. But it seems as though they really filled those “ extra “ space”. Not a lot of room to move around.. Thaks for sharing with us..😊

Question do you live in a HOA neighborhood?! Also I like house #1 as well. You get more bank for your buck. Better kitchen, better backyard, better bathroom. Thise are key things I would look for in a home and storage and closet space.
We requested a HOA neighborhood, we need our property values increasing, it’s an investment property and most non HOA spaces we saw before touring was pretty messy and we didn’t want any messy neighbors
@@Kristlineoh okay sis, because sometimes the HOA be having ridiculous rules and regulations ans hidden clauses. I've seen way to videos and heard way to many horror stories of HOA neighborhoods.
@g3MZ1ZA11G00D we read the HOA rules and honestly wouldn’t be doing any of those things on the list. So we will be just fine, before moving into a community I recommend asking for their rules, they don’t all follow the same rules, that’s why it’s important to request it and do your own research. Ask people in the neighborhood as well. But I can tell you one thing, a HOA provides a certain level of security and protection. There are pros and cons

They're still building: After you go through the headache of fixing YOUR property, you have to contend with the noise of other properties being developed on a regular basis...not a good look.
If you can try to find you some land and build your own house try not to move into a community with HOAs they are a nightmare you're still young you guys have the time
