I had the honor of designing the logos for Phoebe & Co. because Amanda is my best friend's future sister-in-law and y'all. She is one of the absolute KINDEST, MOST COMPASSIONATE, HEARTWARMING, AND THOUGHTFUL individuals I have ever met. The amount of love and hard work she has put into this store for almost two months now has been so inspiring to watch and I am so thankful that Sierra put out such an incredible video to support not only Amanda but all of these incredible small business owners!!!
Sierra supporting small businesses and supporting people’s dreams during the worst economic downfall in our life times is proof that she is LITERALLY an angel
I love how she actually bought stuff and didn’t just use her influence to coerce business’s to give her stuff for free, it really shows how great Sierra is
This is SO IMPORTANT right now. Small businesses are going through a tough time right now. I’m a funding analyst and so I know more than most about what is being done to help them (in Canada) and its still not going to be enough. Buying from small and local businesses is what we should all be doing right now. Its amazing to see you support them and give them this wonderful publicity.
My state has literally not released ANY help for small businesses. We're under a mandatory quarantine that could go well into July according to our govoner. Since that announcement a ton of the small businesses in my area have announced permanent closures. All that's going to be left of my town is like 2 restaurants and department stores like Target. All of our small businesses literally went under overnight. What Sierra is doing is so important
I would love it while we're staying at home to see as many of these as possible. Beyond that, I think this would be a really cool monthly feature on the channel!
This might just be the most honest and wholesome video on the internet right now. So happy to see this sort of content being produced. Well done Sierra ❤
This was the sweetest, most heartwarming video I've seen in ages. Supporting small businesses is so important, especially now, and despite being European and largely out of range for all these businesses, it's amazing to see just the sheer brilliance and talent of all the people featured! I'm 100% with the people asking for this to be made a series
I never comment. Nothing against commenting, I'm just too lazy and more of a 'watcher' in the community. But this is the BEST quarantine video idea I've seen to date. Good job! This is how you keep us positive, entertained, and do good all at the same time.
having the owners of the businesses introduce themselves and their businesses was a great addition to the video!!! I would love to see more videos like this! keep up the great work 🥰
Went to Phoebe and Co. and almost everything is sold out! Her stuff is so cute! Great job Sierra spotlighting small females owners but also helping them in this tough times! These small shops are amazing and deserve all the success.
I feel like maybe a series instead of just a part 2. This is such an amazing opportunity to use your platform to feature small businesses. What a great video this was!
As a small business owner I can't express how much I love this video! Can't wait to support some of these businesses my self! I have a crochet business making mostly blankets. When a blanket (or any item) is ordered I make a baby hat to match to be donated to a NICU. When my son was born we were sent straight to the NICU and while there we received a homemade hat and it meant so much to us and I just want to bring some of the same join to others going through that very hard time. I'm just an Etsy shop for now, but you can find my Instagram with a link to my shop at @CaringCrochetByMegan
I love this sooo much! My son was just discharged from the NICU 💙 A local lady makes all the NICU babies tiny quilts which I thought was the sweetest thing ever! When my daughter was born they gave us a crocheted hat and it’s in her baby book still. The littlest things help us hold onto the best memories 😊
Hey Sierra, I love this idea. I would love to see it done for small businesses owned by WOC if you have the time to do it. Love your channel and hope you’re staying safe!
Definitely do a part 2! Honestly I wouldn't even stop after 2, do as many of these as you want lol. I really enjoyed this video and I'm going to check out all these businesses (you may have also given me an idea for Mother's Day!)
I. Love. This. She didn’t just order from a place or 2, she really ordered from a variety of places. This probably means so much to these people. All of these businesses seem amazing. I love this so much. More pls!!
I don’t see anyone explaining Buckeyes in the comments... they’re Midwest confections where you mix peanut butter and powdered sugar, roll it into a ball, and dip it in chocolate. They’re MEGA popular in Ohio and Indiana, so all other sweets usually get a Buckeye flavoured makeover.
I would never know about any of these great businesses without you showing me. I would love to see what other small businesses I can help support. Please make this a series!?! Thank you for sharing such a great idea and getting the word out. I really want to know what else is out there and not always so common. Thanks Sierra!
Ok tell me why I started crying when she started getting emotional about the denim jacket...? God I love this community and how much we care about each other.
That woman literally pulled those jeans for sierra just by the info she has on her via sierra’s youtube videos. And they fit and look soo goood! The damn level of professionalism of knowledge 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 love all these talented, inspiring and beautiful women
I wish I could like this 500 times. I honestly got a little emotional seeing how many of these shops are now sold out of items and thriving despite difficulty times. PLEASE do more.
i love how sierra believes in her followers and does things like this🥺❤ truly shows what kind of a person she is, confident and kind❤ (if you know you know)
We Do not deserve Sierra. She's such a beautiful human being. Whenever she said she was so excited, I got excited. Sierra, you look so happy, I really love seeing you that way, you totally deserve to be happy.
When she said “why is this whole video making me cry”.... same I’m not sure why but this video was making me cry too... I would love too see you do more of these videos 💕💕💕
I would LOVE to see this become a regular series that you do! It's even more important to shop small and local in these tough times. Thank you for showcasing these amazing businesses!
When we get two Sierra videos within an hour... ya know, quarantine isn’t so bad today. Thank you for this! I’m a single mom, and today I need a break. You are my break. Lol! Thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻♥️
More of these! Totally heart warming, such a great idea. These types of boosts and general love are so valuable. As a business owner and lover of community support this makes my heart so happy for the featured ladies who are making it work! My business is professional services irrelevant to this posting, but this adds to the pile of evidence that the entrepreneurship community is truly amazing and supportive ❤️
This was a great idea. Small business are the ones suffering the most right now since most didn't get government help. Thanks for helping small businesses
This is one of the BEST video ideas I have ever seen a youtuber do! What a great way to promote small businesses. This would be cool to see monthly! It's also super ironic because I live in Columbus, Ohio! Seeing someone be supported like that from my own home town made this video even better for me. And I know i'm not the only one who has watched this and recognized their own city! I would have never known about that amazing business (and the others of course!) if it weren't for this, so thank you!! :)
Sierra- I went to make a purchase from one of these shops and everything was sold out- you did so much good by doing this! As a small business owner myself, this was incredible especially after the government has screwed us all so badly!
My dad owns an small business, my mom owns a small business, and so does my husband's family... this video seriously hit my heart on the best level... thank you!!
Awesome! They're not the kind of stores you can shop at though... My mom owns a deli/corner store out in the country, my dad is a cobbler, and my husband's family owns a liquor store, and with MS being a controlled state, no online shopping.
Sierra this is such an amazing idea, especially during hard times like these, I hope other youtubers follow your lead with this video idea!!! I just opened my skincare Etsy shop in early April and I launched two products, they are both beauty oils, here is the link to check them out!!! Thanks so much in advance! 😊💕 www.etsy.com/shop/gabyireneskin
I wish I didn’t get laid off from coronavirus cause I want to order from all these companies😭😍 this type of video should become a series!! I’m all for supporting small businesses
Alexa Cadorette I’m so sorry to hear about your job situation right now... It’s a scary time for a lot of people. Sending a big hug your way! I hope things turn around soon! 💖💖
My mom has a small business called “Mustard Seed boutique” she has clothes and jewelry! She hand makes all of her jewelry as well! Her shop is somewhat based on Jesus and positivity her Facebook is Mustard seed boutique
I love how Stephen pronounced ganache correctly the first time and then proceeded to try all of these crazy other ways of pronouncing it, like "ganiche"
Definitely keen for a part two. Like someone else said, I'd be keen for this as a regular thing instead of fast fashion type hauls. Awesome thing you did for small businesses! 💜
Sierra: "I have 6 or 7 pairs.." Me (living in Canada, wishing I could be in Disney everyday): I have 22 pairs of disney park ears. 😂 AND YES DO A PART 2 PLEASE. I have a small buisness, I didn't see the Instagram post so I couldn't share mine, but I looooove seeing other peoples businesses!
@@criscessun I literally just started! I'm doing custom blankets/cups/etc. Maybe by the second video she makes I'll be able to post an instagram for everyone to check out! 💜
My son and I recently found and started following you. I love your body positive messages. He simply finds you hysterical. We have a small business, that is currently only being sold through our fb page and at craft shows. My son is autistic, and crafting is his thing when he has reached his limit on screen time for the day. He makes candles, soaps, and his latest medium that he works with is epoxy resin. In that he makes jewelry, vanity trays, trinket boxes, and other items. Our Facebook page is Chris & Kris Creations.
Does Sierra have a lot of fans of color? Not many from what I've seen so it may be harder to find small business owners who are also of color. Also I kinda like how Sierra doesn't discuss race.
Thank you for this comment. As a subscriber and woman of color, I appreciate that I wasn't the only one who thought about this. I genuinely appreciate Sierra's devotion to inclusivity, which would include varying races and cultures. :)
My parents have a small business and have struggled a lot through the years, to the point where we were nearly homeless when I was 17. This video means so much to me, and I just wanted to thank you for taking your time and money to support small business
i absolutely love this idea! “my followers small business haul” especially during this time!! you should deff push or suggest this to other influencers can do the same!!! they’re always doing clothing/luxury hauls 🥴
This is such a wonderful idea in the current climate. It's amazing to see a RU-vidr supporting their community like this. We should all be trying to shift our support from large, unethical corporations to smaller businesses, especially at the moment.
The Phoebe & Co clothing is so feminine, and girly, and comfy. I love the pumpkin patch top. I hope you buy from her again for the Autumn Winter season including some accessories next time!
I applaud you for this!! As a small business owner we aren’t target or Walmart that can pay for ads or commercials. And with everything going on, non essential small business are being affected. Support small business.
This was such a cute and thoughtful and appropriate for the times video, Sierra! It's SO important to support small businessess right now and that you're doing that AND helping your amazing subscribers is just the coolest. I also just wanted to say that I have so enjoyed the Confident and Kind Facebook group. I feel like I have thousands of new friends who are all focused on sharing, inspiring, uplifting, and supporting each other so thank you for bringing us all together!
Please please please Sierra, do it as a series... I want to see more of these small Businesses... Everything was so curate, unique and woooow. I loved this video
This is SUCH an amazing idea. Thank you for promoting small businesses during these crazy times! Hopefully this will encourage all of your subscribers to do the same. 🥰
I think it is wonderful that you are using your influence to elevate others - it is beautiful and wonderful! Thank you for pouring out so much positivity and hope :)
So being an Ohio girl, I feel the need to explain the "buckeye" thing. We have buckeye trees all over and buckeyes are like the little nut type things that fall from those trees. Often places will make chocolate peanutbutter treats that look like buckeyes so that's where that combo comes from
I'm Minnesotan but I have an aunt who lives in Ohio and she has brought those peanut butter chocolate buckeye things to family gatherings before lol they are bomb!!
Yes I deffinitelly want part 2, I'm not even from the US but I really enjoy seeing people supporting smaller local businesses, it's just the way to go, so much better for the enviroment and lot's of the times just morally better because with small businesses you know where it all comes from, how do they make the stuff they sell and it just feels more personal and special than buying things from bic companies.
I hope Ditzy Designs doesn't get sued by Disney for copy right. As a small business owner I know using Disney designs are a big no no...super cute though
Hi I’m from Ohio!! The “buckeye” treat is traditionally a peanut butter ball coated in chocolate so it looks like a buckeye!! Those brownies look absolutely amazing 🤤
Oh, and with that you should definitely look up a recipe to make buckeyes if you ever want a nice decadent treat for you and Stephen! They’re decently easy to make (I’m pretty sure I learned how to make them when I was like 10).
Sierra discovering the magic of shopping from small businesses is so wholesome!! As an artist/small business owner, this makes me really happy, and I'd love this to become a series!
As a proud Ohioan, typically any food called "buckeye" doesn't actually contain them. It's usually just a combination of chocolate and peanut butter but named such because of the candy treats made to look like the nuts with a chocolate "shell" and peanut butter center for the tan spot.
totally agree! I haven't made any buckeye candy in soo long because its such a process and everyone has a different opinion on them lol. I live in the central Ohio area and went to Ohio State
Please please please make for videos featuring small businesses! It’s so interesting to see unique products and you get to draw attention to some amazing companies!
