The way you describe the bike comes off as really fair/unbiased, which is funny because you seem to be biased against it. Great job with the review! I feel like I have a real understanding of the pros and cons of this bike! Thanks man!
I have this bike and agree, he might have gotten a faulty one. When I do just pedal-assist, I've never had my motor cut out. This is my first e-bike, so I really don't have anything to compare it to, but it's definitely been worth the money to me. One of the things to consider with these e-bike reviewers is that they have tested/rode multiple e-bikes, so they have a greater frame of reference than your average consumer, who can't afford to purchase multiple e-bikes to determine which one they like best. Still, appreciate the review, Mike. Keep up the great work.
"the problem with chinese manufacturing" bro is acting like 85% of ebikes arent made in china. spending 4000$ on a bike that you bought in america doesnt mean it was made there. also even the requirements to be considered made in america arent that high. the issue is super cheap maunfacting not all chinese manufacturing. most of your favorite models are made in china and branded with whatever you want.
Sounds like the pedal assist sensor ring is too far from it's pickup soi it's only picking up an intermittent signal. as long as you keep up a constant cadence it shouldn't cut out unless the motor isn't getting a signal
I've a similar bike from Amazon a Sudoo. Had similar experience out of box. I changed few settings on the bike computer and transformed the way it rides. 1000 miles in and no problems so far. 👍 It's easy to do
I’m a huge knife collector. I review knives on RU-vid. The Chinese market is big in our community now. This is because our grate knife makers have gone to china and taught them how to make quality knives.
Hello, I'm looking for a electric bike for my delivery job in the Netherlands. If you could suggest me an overall better range and reasonably priced bike, Thanks
@@MikeFede Hi Mike, I'm just looking for a bicycle which would give me the highest range if it has km 100+ like less than €1000..even bikes Is it possible to get the bike through monthly installment?
Did that have a key sticking out of the side of the battery? That's just waiting for the lock to get a little worn and causing the key to drop out in the middle of nowhere...
Wrong ya Just asking for something to happen to said key , in my opinion it's best to get a easily identifiable key thob that's either easy to remember that's on the key hoop for your e-bike or have one that you can write on like the old school plastic clip together thobs that one can put a label inside of . This stops anyone from stealing your keys from the bike and if you crash the bike you would not need to worry about side impact to key damage ok@@MikeFede
@@alexia3049 not a scam. It actually sells for $500.00. Personally I would recommend making the jump to something around 800-1000. You’ll get a way better bike.
Im telling ya that's what I'm looking for I just want something to ride up and down these hills instead of walking where I'm at the best way I see is buying a bike and buying the kit you put together

I'd probably get a 48v battery and controller to make this thing faster.... I couldn't stand that cutting in and out on a hill because I live in the mountains of PA so I need to trust my bike.
Hey there! I just stumbled upon a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 eBike, and it seems like they've addressed the issue you mentioned about pedal assist modes. Their eBike offers a unique blend of fitness and technology and even allows you to charge it indoors. It's definitely worth checking out! I've personally been enjoying the riding experience on the Morph eBike, and it's outstanding how it combines indoor fitness and outdoor exploration. The brushless 750W motor delivers impressive power and speed, while the 80mm front suspension ensures a smooth ride on any terrain. Plus, the Smart Saddle Detection+ feature is a game-changer for achieving fitness goals. Give it a go and let me know your thoughts! 😊
I bought the duplicate of this and for $500 I Love it. Live in michigan so i only have so many days to enjoy riding it so while its summer im on it just about every night after work! Its FUN and good exercise 😁
@@paratoxik922$500 is not cheap, there are literally millions of bicycles going for way under $500. Litclothina, Peyarpark, and hainshow are known for selling electric bikes for slightly under $100. I say if you can purchase a 468Wh electric bike for under $100 then go for it!!! Otherwise if it’s anywhere above $100 then DO NOT BUY IT! Considering that there are so many people making under $200 a year or $0 a year especially if you’re a young teen then $500 for a electric bike is ridiculously expensive.
I have similar cheap ancheer ebike... Pedal assist are crap on this cheap bikes... i suggest using throttle to assist yourself manually how you like... i get 40 miles easy assisting my self and no pedaling at flat when i feel motor is not working hard...
@@OregonDARRYL yeah, you can use it whatever you like, i drive economic and i want my motor to have long life span... when accelerating and i feel i pedal hard i give some throttle just enough to help me maybe 50% me -50% motor rotating wheel... biggest battery consumer is accelerating... that put so stress on battery and drain it like crazy... those pedal assist are so aggressive at acceleration like pressing throttle to max... bad for battery and bad for motor.
I have a crazy idea, if your up for the challenge ? (there is this Ebike available for under 100.00) manufacturer claims it's usually 800.00, I was wondering if you would buy it, and be the only RU-vid channel who reviews the first brand new under 100.00 Ebike? (who know's maybe the manufacturer would give you some kind of royalty for doing the in depth assembly instruction video, ) (a lot of people like myself are the on the sidelines watching with great curiosity and amuzement this whole Ebike revolution, but won't experiment with one costing 300.00 and above, (trust me on this)
