Yessir! Single turbo m4 is going to be nuts. 🚀 just to be clear friends, this is a CES Shop Car Build. I still have a new personal build coming. 😎 Thanks for watching. 🙏🏽
I am so glad you stated, maintenance first. All too often people max out their budget on a used car without factoring in maintenance. Things easily noticed by just anyone are tires so, they may request new tires in the deal or a discount knowing they need to buy tires. All too often people completely ignore maintenance until they save up for it. Drive the car around hoping nothing happens until they can afford the maintenance or think they are good to go because the next maintenance is not scheduled for another 10k miles. Any used car should be throughly inspected, by yourself if you are capable and confident or through a PPI (pre purchase inspection) with a competent highly rated shop like CES. Any used car I have ever considered I have looked up recommended maintenance, either inspected it throughly myself or paid a shop for a PPI. I do maintenance as soon as I get the car before any kind or regular daily driving is done. This has worked out so well in my favor. Having owned 72 cars with about an even split being brand new vs used. I have only ever had 1 major car problem. Dodge Hemi motor threw a rod at just 75,000 miles but, the vehicle being 16 years old. It was actually purchased brand new by my dad. I got it with 48k and all maintenance was meticulous kept up, truck garaged ect. I kept up the maintenance even more meticulously and even replaced aging parts. I just happened to be unlucky. Regular driving, cruising 60-65 mph the oil pump failed starving the motor of oil. Within 1-2 minutes tops of hearing piston slap, slowing, trying to get over to the shoulder in traffic, threw a rod. Some things are inevitable, unavoidable but, proper timely maintenance on new cars and immediate maintenance on used cars can avoid so many problems.
@@juanmontano6105there’s an interesting topic that only US m4s face the issue of CH, it was a problem created by the dealers and a solution was provided w the crankhub. My friend who is a mechanic doesn’t believe in the crankhub issue and runs a LM900 on his m4, 30000km in and 0 issue
Dead ass, that’s what I got mine for, 2015 131k miles, alpine white, carbon roof, FBO and crankhub was completed 3 years ago at 98k….. good find, good luck on the build! Nice to see someone showing love to the higher mileage F8X💪🏾
This is veeeery interesting. Please go in depth in your maintenance video. Things like is it worth changing rod bearings at this mileage, chaanging the water pump, oil pump, belts, tensioners, etc... It is a question lots of us s55 owners are wondering if this is necessary at this sort of mileage.
Hey man, you should definitely get in touch with 4nMotorsport and do a collaboration with the s55 engine, destroke it or add some things used in their engines using your turbo kit and get it reving higher ya know just make it something different. Maybe even their transmission. Really take the thing to the next level inside and out👌🏼😎
just want to say thanks thic for all the great content man 🙏🙏 I bought a f30 340ix a year ago after bingeing your videos and literally just got into a f82 m4 zcp. Stoked for this series! Les gooooo
Hell yeah. Love CES. They did my bench unlock. My built motor is coming in this week, was looking into some single turbo kits so this is extremely timely! Looking forward to the release!
I LOVE Mineral grey! Match that with the coral red or silverstone interior and it's chef's kiss to me! Congrats on the new purchase. As an 135i and 440i owner, this new addition definitely sparks my interest. Also - please shoot me a message when you're ready to let go of the Silverstone interior. I'm local to CLT and am interested! Thanks!
HRE P101 wheels, Carbon front lip, not too aggressive Carbon trunk lip,not too aggressive Alcantara, Carbon steering wheel Diffuser, not too aggressive LCI Head and Tail Lights Comp Seats Side Skirts Perfect M4.
I would love to see an adventure of getting this to an m4 gts PLUS level As in, retrofitting all the m4 gts parts on, then going crazy with the mods like bigger turbos etc and see what it can be capable of the water/meth injection system could provide for a bigger power envelope too
Been trying to find those gorgeous 437m wheels for my F30. Either people are selling them with gutter rash / defects, a ridicules price or they have painted them all black!
Huh I thought it was about to be the fire damaged m4 that was near me that was the cheapest lol. It was a 2015 and only had 20k miles and it was in Sakhir orange. It was like 24k when it finally sold
Damn car needs a complete restoration. good lord. Nice to see BMW has not fixed ofhg, valve cover, pcv, single mount diff etc etc etc, some things never change
Please keep the interior color in the future. I feel like you would just end up changing the whole interior black once you clean it up. It would be nice if you had a colored interior for once. This build is going to be so sick once it’s gets your touch
There’s a big boost s55 kit used local to me for a pretty good deal right now, I’m thinking about picking it up but lmk what you think, should I keep saving and just buy a different kit brand new?
The exhaust will be a custom fabricated system done locally, single all the way through to the rear end (remember this is a single turbo car In the future) alibaba / China, etc. doesn’t really matter to us and that isn’t a dig on anything or where it is made. We are just pointing out what is on the car right now.
Badass and hellofa deal! It’s a sister car to my f80 minus mine being a comp. One thing I think would be good and something I’ve not see much on for these is a button diffuser aero kit. Where the bottom skid plate covers the entire bottom or the car creating some wicked aero benefits! Only a few out for the e90; a local guy to me makes them
Very excited to see you guys do an F82! Mine is the same color and I'm VERY interested to see how well the CES single turbo kit works. I was going to upgrade my twins but there are a lot of advantages to a single set up as he explained.
I’m a simple man. I see new M4 video….I click…..in all seriousness I hope you go balls to the walls with this build. Can’t wait to get some inspiration from this build with my M4 CS. She’s still bone stock.
