I reckon he's ditched that into a curb drifting it, wrecked paint in the front splitter, wrecked a comp alloy wheel, and now it doesn't drive straight either 😮

Did anyone else spot at 8:05 the mileage on the Carvertical report? It goes from 14,788 to 14,044. This has definitely been tampered with!

Spent 10k modding the car, but the wheel alignment needs done... How longs it been like that? 4 months.... Sure mate, shifty little guy, wouldn't have touched that motor

5:28 into this and the look and vocal tone from you Calvin sums up completely all the alarm bells going on in your head. Hats off for even buying this with all the sketchy things wrong with it! I bet when you get the 3 original wheels back and you look at the directional arrows you'll find the front o/s one is missing not the n/s. That's had a hard knock on the front o/s and there's more to straightening that steering than a 4 wheel alignment!

BMW are known for having mileage blockers installed that wear on the seats, the steering, the keepers all don’t relate to a car with that mileage, but Calvin strikes again with more content. Can’t wait to see the outcome😂

Just bought an orange M4 with ultra low miles this week at auction so somewhat invested in this too, albeit mine has had 3 owners.

You can afford to buy the car, but you can’t afford to run it!

Roughest one I have seen and it even looks really tired for a 17 plate. A massive money pit and one that’s not been loved. I think the mileage will check out but I think the owner knows more than he’s letting on. Still it will be great content and a good car once finished. Look forward to Will have a gander - bet he will start crying when he sees it and drives it

Bet the lad was doing skids In and hit a curb. Cracked an alloy and shagged some suspension components then just bodged it back together and threw on some standard M3 wheels😅

I'd say that mileage is correct it will have done alot of short journeys, it's had its arse kicked but then again what Bmw M car hasn't, i think it be a simple fix the not driving straigght like a bend front arm, you got to face facts it is a nice looking motor

tbh it just sounds like a lot of young people have had it who couldn't really afford to have it/maintain it - It doesn't necessarily mean its a right off of a project - just some simple repairs/service etc and it could be a good runner

I'd be surprised if that car has done less than 100k. And car vertical check says mileage is true🤔 Most likely accident damaged too given how bad it drives 😭 You're a brave man!!

It's not always good to speculate on the down side, I know if I was looking for an M4 Comp. I'd walk away from this one. We are all now invested to see how this turns out so a big win for us a we get to see Will's magic at VRS. Thanks Calvin, I think personally the guy was gutted to let it go but has arrived at that situation of cutting his losses. Who amongst us has not been at this point in their motoring life? I look forward to seeing it unravel, good or bad.

For people that live in the real world £18,000 is so expensive for this, even £15,000 is way to much, let’s be honest

For a low mileage car and 8 owners (did any of them drive it, and headlight mist up , previous turbo replaced , nice car shame these issues with low miles

Why does someone spend thousands on mods for a car, but it doesn’t have an up to date service, doesn’t drive straight, wrong battery and tyres are nearly bald… but spend thousand in making it 600bhp 🤔 I’ve seen so many cars with aesthetic and performance mods, but not the basic maintenance a car like that needs and deserves. It’s such a f***ing odd approach to premium car ownership 🫤

Sometimes you had to just take a punt 🙂. Might have had a mileage blocker, maybe not. Get a single 666m wheel, refurb them, body work bits are easy fix, good detail , get it driving straight, battery and new gear stick and good to go, gona make some nice content this , Yas Marina Blue cleans up well , looking forward to seeing the updates

Just remembered that the reason why the steering could be off is the it needs as new tie rod as it could be seized. I got mine aligned and they had to use a blow torch to un seize it. Fast forward 6 months I had the rear differential seal done under warranty(€15 part) €1200 job from Bmw! They couldn’t finish the alignment as they insisted on changing the tie rod(€300) so mine currently pulls slightly to the left so they are going to take it back and do it again It still pulls hard to 300km/h in 6th gear though! lol

I'd be worried about the steering rack on that, could be £2k+. hopefully its ok though and will make a nice car for a new owner.

its done over 860 Donuts and 400 burn outs and been too every car meets in the country .8 keepers should be 135000 miles . not possible what he,s saying .and it hasnt bin on a proper jig .

An M4 that has been driven properly and maintained well (ie serviced regularly, warmed up properly before being driven hard, generally not being ragged all the time everywhere etc) should not have failing turbos. So the fact this one had one go says everything about its former keepers and general maintenance.

Just because car vertical says its not had accident damage doesn't mean it hasn't been damaged its only recorded if it goes through the insurance, my guess is that it has been crashed and for whatever reason the insurance was voided, then has been repaired on a shoestring budget and sold on.8 owners only driven on a Sunday ( yeah round a race track ) 30k miles? this car has more red flags than a Chinese military parade, i think he would have even taken less for it just to get rid.

Tie rod ends will be the issue on steering. Like another guy said, local garage couldn’t even un-seize mine with a blowtorch so bad to replace them.

TBH even if Calvin gives it away on Planet of Dreams that car is still a liability to the "lucky" new owner with that dodgy mileage 😂😂. They should strip and sell parts.

Jeez....so many alarm bells ringing with this car. I wouldn't be surprised if it's had a knock on the front passenger side with the paint, headlight and pulling. On the upside, if anyone can turn it around Calvin can 👍

I'm the 8th keeper of my s3. Had it 2 years. Best car ever had. 88k miles on it. Former keepers never put me off as long as the history and checks are OK

Isn’t there a way like in the vag stuff where you can get another mileage reading through the tcm or from another area that would be deep in the ecu? Doesn’t the mileage blocker just pause the digits is puttin on the dash or does it block the miles from being logged in the ECU or TCM?

Bloke looks so nervous as you are on the test drive. Must only be on £32-36k, hence why he couldnt afford the upkeep.

Calvin I owned my F82 from new 9'000 miles and was treated like a baby, it still had wear on the seat in the same place.

At 5 years old on the mot it was on 9000 miles something wrong there especially having advisorys for a wheel bearing they don't go after 9k

This car definitely had a mileage blocking device installed at some point. Get vrs to check the mileage in the transmission. My bet is over 100k miles. The mot history milage just doesn't add up. 2021 it had 9844miles 2022 was 14044 and the lasted mot was 30732. Definitely been tampered with

Battery just needs coding to the car, BMW's charging varies on the age of the battery. So it wont be charging the battery properly hence the code. 4 wheel alignment can be done anywhere like kwik fit, national tyre, ATS etc.

What a journey, I remember how you started planet of dreams giving away a mk1 TT and there have been plenty of cars that many would consider a dream since then such as the e46 m3 and mk7 golf r but this m4 comp tops it. I wish I win it hehe
