BUYING THE MOST EXPENSIVE MYSTERY BOX

Etsy should be able to refund it! They lied about the listing. Ive gotten a refund for FAR LESS because of a false listing. A money grab if you will! Thats absolutely not okay to sell you literally junk for that much money! I hope they do the right thing! Let us know!

File a case with Etsy that the purchased item was actually drop-shipped items. Etsy is only supposed to be hand-made items but they’ve had a huge problem with drop-shippers lately.

As a jeweler and goldsmith this gave me a good chuckle. I can in fact tell you that the gemstones in the white containers were not glass. You had an array of garnet, peridot, amethyst in the one container, among other things. The one you thought was an aquamarine was in fact a blue topaz. All were cheap semi-precious stones worth next to nothing, but not colored glass! Even $300 would’ve been a rip off for everything you got unfortunately.

I really feel like a lot of people could make some big life changes with $4,300. My etsy shop is full of handmade items that I make myself and a $4300 sale would be quite that sale for an actual real handmade shop! It makes me really mad that etsy hasn't put a stop to this drop-shipped garbage. That is not ok! 2 months later, I’m shocked this comment has so many likes and I’m gonna just keep letting that happen 🤣 I stand by what I said, if I was spending 4k on Etsy I’d be pretty mad if everything I recieved wasn’t what was advertised but instead turned out to be drop shipped garbage. I’d rather spend that kinda money on quality and shops that are more deserving than these scammy shops. ☕️

I used to work at a pawn shop, and learned a few things about testing jewelry, so here are a few tips based off things you did or did not do in the video: 18K acid is much easier to read for testing silver than the silver acid because the 18K will turn the mark baby blue/sky blue if it is silver. Also, although it has a chance to leave a mark on the jewelry piece, you should really be rubbing a piece of jewelry which is questionable on the stone slate at least 3 times in case of heavy plating. My last tip is that if you manage to get a mark from metal other than gold, silver, or copper (mainly steel, which is hard to do) it will NOT react to acid.

A lot of silver and gold from abroad is not hall-marked! I had a lot of gold I inherited from my Mum, and when i had to cash some in I was suprised how much was actually gold and not marked at all!

You and Kris should go shopping and pick up items that you think are cool and could be haunted and put them in mystery boxes for giveaways/raffles! There could be a haunted one, a food one, a random one, a crap one (all things poop-themed like your makeup palette), and one based on your and Kris' personalities! Obviously, there would need to be one that you and Adam put together, too.

Video Ideas: #1) Comparing natural crystals from Temu & Amazon. Anything from jewelry, statues, large obelisk prisms & so on. All while comparing price, authenticity & variety. Idea #2) Lost airport luggage. #3) Going to Auctions. Not sure about Canada, but the US has TONS of different auctions from livestock to antiques, technology, furniture, cars & so on. Figured Antiques would be a good fit for you, especially when it comes to the more “unique” items. SIDE NOTE: putting aside the video suggestions I mentioned above, I kinda miss the content you used to make outside of super expensive mystery packages. Not saying to stop, because it does give variety to your channel which is awesome! i’m just asking for other types of content to be sprinkled in between videos like this one.

This is why we have to read descriptions and do research when spending so much on something lol XD Some of those gems might be genuine, but they're the cheapest gems you can get so it's no skin off their backs to make cheap jewelry out of it. I used to work for a jewelry company and did quality assurance and as you figured, all of that is indeed costume jewelry and you got scammed hardcore. Not to say that costume jewelry can't be nice, I have some that I love, but passing it off as genuine/expensive is absolutely awful. I am so sorry Celina! I would hope that you can talk with Etsy, maybe send them this video, to get a full refund and maybe, hopefully, they'll ban that seller for their skeevy practices.
