The All new Honda NX500 is Launched in India. Here is my opinion comparing with Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adv Follow me on Instagram / bulubiker #HondaNX500 #royalenfieldhimalayan450 #ktm390adventure
I own a CB 500X I bought after the price drop Best decision of my life Hondas reliability Cheap to maintain Good power Killer looks Awesome mileage (Doon Shimla Manali Doon only 27 ltrs) Love Honda Pls dont compare with RE or KTM
Hi Brother, What's the spare parts availablity status of CB 500X after discontinuation ? Do you face any delay or have to wait to get the spare parts ? Actually I'm planning to buy NX500 but kinda confused by thinking that Honda might discontinue this one anytime as well 😢
@dipandebnath5393 Till now i have not faced but yes there will be a delay in case you break something and it will depend where you as it will take time to be shipped...
Me too presently own CB 350 highness. Butterly smooth and reliable machine. Since I have done a lots of long rides on this and I feel, I do deserve an upgrade with more power. Hence I have been doing lot's of market research on my new buy. And believe me as Ballu Bhai said, I too was anxiously waiting for this particular model. Now since Honda has fulfilled it's promise. I am sure.... I am going for this machine. God be with all of us.
See I feel bikes reflect your inner personality. Its a superb bike, low maintenance cost, stable on all terrains. Never ever stalled on any of my rides. Iam still confident to takes this bike any part of country.
@bulu bhai well said. I waited a year for this bike and did not buy any other bike. Worth the wait and it is the best bike globally. And the maintenance of this bike is also reasonable. I've booked it and you don't need to test ride a Honda.
Great points. It all comes down to the budget, usage and our priorities. I have owned multiple RE, Bajaj and KTM models. Was least worried only with KTM. While looking at cost effectiveness, we end up spending more time visiting showroom for trouble shoot. If we are lucky, we night get a good set or we end up worrying a lot. Honda is expensive but quality and reliability is default. So at the end as you said, if we can afford it, its a great bike.
I think Honda Nx 500 is a jack of all trades. Can be ur daily driver, trails, and ofcourse highways.Maine asian market ki videos dekhi and u can see the quality, just too notch.
First time commenting on one of your vlogs and totally agree with you. Am coming from a Tiger 800 XCX and a Speed Twin 1200 but surprisingly quite happy with a Dominar. Really wanted the CB500X but pricing issues and availability was a downer. Would get this in a jiffy if I can work out finances. This one ticks all the boxes for me.
Namaste Sir I have been watching your vlogs since 2021 and have started to make my travel vlogs wher i travel solo in my car across India My question is about a product you had shared a few years back when you had just purchased your Scorpion N & you had shared a GoPro car mount that was installed on the front rear view mirror and i remember you saying it can easily rotate 360 degrees and can be used as a dashcam or record in cabin whenever required by just turning it around It will be great if you could share that product or ots link or even that vlog link with me Regards
Honda recently launched Transalp 750 in last September or October 2023. Now it has launched NX500 replacing old CB version. This Transalp & NX500 looks very similar in styling but both have their differences but not too far from eachother except on road price. What are your thoughts on these two comparisons? Internationally transalp is much preferred as they see it as baby Africa Twin and has great power for everyday use. If you do side by side comparison then that'd be great for people who are confused within these 2 hondas. Im glad you are taking your time to do such in-depth videos to make people understand about motorcycles unbiased 👏.
bhai, you missed mentioning the low-end torque of the NX 500 engine. We can glide this bike at 20 kph in 3rd gear and this is a huge plus. which is a certain miss and a struggle with Himalayan and KTM. It's an easy-to-live-with-one motorcycle for daily use for an all-around use experience also keeping in mind the Honda service and ownership cost. The extra premium price will tally out in 3 years with a much better and quality experience.
I love how honest and detailed your reviews are. Big fan of your work. I am convinced with the quality and performance of the Japanese manufacturer bikes but a friend of mine who owns a CB300R has had terrible experience in terms of part availablity and after-sales service. His bike has spent months in the service centre and has returned with issues still unresolved and parts unavailable. This is more a Honda problem coz it is not the case with Kawasaki. I am sure I want to upgrade to an adventure tourer and NX500 sits in that sweet spot. But I am very concerned with the part availablity, service quality and in general attitude of Honda BigWing. Can we expect Honda BigWing to improve on this front? Secondly, my purpose is city riding and highway touring in a 50:50 ratio. I don't do offroading or even trails and not interested in it too. So, in that case is it worth spending extra on NX500 or a 390 Adv (2025 ideally) or a Himalaya (tuneless wheels) do the job for me? I own a FZ250 and have done over 2000kms long trips on it. Would be great to know your thoughts on these
@BuluBiker Bhai, I saw your videos of honda 350 and later when i saw your video of cb500 i was really impressed with the inputs you gave Whatever improvements you described in that video, I think honda ne kai chije add krdi isme and definitely I’m gonna buy this motorcycle bcz of your detailed video which is very helpful I am eagerly waiting to see your ownership video for nx500 soon to understand how comfortable it is for pillion seat 😊
Bulu bhaai aap aise videos banaya karo informative hota hai practical hota hai aur experience se aata hai 🎉🎉 bohot se log on paper ya reviews aur launch videos dekh kar fan ban jaayenge jisme se 2 ya 4 percent log sach me purchase karenge baaki ke splendor aur passion hi chalayenge. I am not saying ki aapki videos dekh kar mai purchase kar raha kyuki information to kahi se bhi mil jaayega lekin experience to ek experienced rider se hi milega, jo ki future me kaam aayega better overall bike purchase ya car purchase karne me. Aapki ek baat hai jo mujhe bohot jagah par kaam aati hai "ki exceptions dekh kar kabhi bike car nahi lena chahiye" kyuki jo kaam months me ek baar karna hai uske liye bike nahi lena hai. 😊😊
RE Roadster 450 jo ki himi 450 pe based hai uske upar aapka kya suggestion hai kya wo versatile ho payega against triumph scrambler 400x? (*based on the spy shots and rumor specs)
Bulu bhai is it worth the extra 2.5L for the nx500? Or the Himalayan would be more practical choise? I understand the fit and finish and quality is better in nx500 but is it worth the extra amount ?
I think it's not worth spending 7L for a Linear powered 500cc twin Cylinder. Better to buy a used Versys 650 at 5L for road trips (it will have all accessories) and a new xpulse worth 1.5L for city and offroad. U still left with 1.5L amount (saved 1L from buying all touring accessories for Nx500 i.e. guards, light, top box ) use that amount for fuel and wear n tear parts.
A big single cylinder engine with high compression will never be reliable nor smooth, until its a race bike like crf 450 rally or yamaha wr 450. Honestly I'm disappointed with new himalayan.
Hello Bulu bhai. I have been following your channel more than 1 year. I need a suggestion from you . Aş I am looking for a bike mostly city but in future will do touring definitely. So confused between scrambler 400x and now nx500. Can nx500 be a daily one bike garage. I mean for daily city commutes to touring and all . Please reply 🙏
Hi Bulu Bhai, Considering Transalp also is on the borderline of 200kg, is the incremental riding experience worth the price of additional 6+lacs? Top 3 qualities I am looking for are Refinement, Agility and Comfort. Ride distribution is 50% highway, 40% country roads and 10% offroad.
Highlights : "...ye kar kya raha he :P " "...paisa kharch kahan hua he" 100% practical points and the exact thoughts that were in my mind when I rejected Himalayan 450 & Versys 650 and booked NX500. Its a Do-it-all machine and can be used and taken anywhere effortlessly and without any worries. Yes, we pay a big premium but again, we are getting quality product, bulletproof smooth honda engine, parallel twin, honda's reliability and cheap maintenance compared to kawasaki and others. Overall its a good machine if you are going through mid life crisis ;) and have average budget and want an all rounder and keeper motorcycle.
Traction control which is being used in Honda is far ahead & much more expensive than ordinary RE & KTM.+ Higher quality parts ofcourse increase budget.
Sir big fan here!!! Thanks for the video. Hum aate hain aapke paas beacuse you are the last word in motorcycle reviews and opinion. I trust you blindly. Thanks for your efforts. 😊 Sir, one question is about seat height. I'm 5'4 and own Hness CB350, i ride comfortably with one foot on the ground. I want to get the NX500❤❤❤ will it be comfortable for me? Thanks😊
Honda is Honda. There is no competition for them. One of my friends recently purchased the CB350. After riding it for just a few kms, I would say there is going to be no motorcycle in the 350cc retro segment that can even come close to it.
Respect for this video. The entire internet is comparing himalayan with nx 500 however in this video it is really explain s2 why 500 price is justify and how it is a bike in a completely different league alltogether and should not be compared with himalayan. The additional bugs that you pay are for the tubeless rims as well as better compound tire way better specs. Better brakes absolutely zero wind blast amazing centre of gravity which leads to better balancing of the bike premiumness overall high quality bike with Honda traction control which is one of the best across all
Its actually good bro... They have improved the suspension setup with new touring seat and continental braking system de rahe he.. Plus power figure has changed too..
Hi congratulations 🎉on your new nx500. I was waiting long for this bike. Can you please help me with service interval (kms) and cost of maintenance. As its CBU hope spares like brake pad chain sprockets should cost more
Honda cars and bike divisions always fail on the pricing their products. This is why they couldn't (four wheeler ) grow much in indian auto market in spite of been in the market for more than 30years.
Bullu bhai ye bahot mahenga hai iska price 4.5 lakh tak rahega to hi ye bike market me dhum machayega nahi to 5.9 lakh me totally flop koi nahi lega qki ye price point pe isse better option market me available hai.
@@NikhilKumarM i am sure of the fact that I want to go with honda and am sure that it's going to be either nx or Transalp.. vstrom is not in my reckoning.
@Bulu Pattnaik Bro: Honda's reliability, fit and finish are what I am attracted to. my 1st bike bought and currently in use Honda SP125 OBD2 E20 2023 model. I am planning to upgrade to a higher cc for touring purposes. Honda NX500 seems perfect for me, would you suggest to jump directly from 125cc to 500cc? Please share your insight in any of your coming videos.
Initially I thought how can you compare a bike which is of almost double in on road price. BLR onroad is 7.50 lakhs. BUT when you justified the reasons one by one, if one can afford buying Nx500 is no Brainer compared to Himalaya n KTM. Nice vlog. Thanks
Hello bulu bhai, I have been following you on RU-vid,you are being providing good valueable content .you 1st had 390 avd now u are riding 450 Himalayan ,I just had a small question hence Himalayan 450 suspension is better than 390adv can we fit 450 suspension for 390 adv .
So listening to the comparison between ktm 390A, Himalayan and Honda NX500, I feel Triumph Scrambler 400X is a better option. Perfectly priced for the feature, performance and premium quality Triumph Is offering.
Bulu vai can you please suggest between Translap 750 and NX500 which one to go for? Today only I went to Kolkata Topline showroom to check Transalp 750
I am very much confused among some bikes like I booked ZX-6R which is my personal favourite but this will not serve my touring purpose as I want to do touring. So now I need some bike counselling 😂. Is there any way to discuss with you?
I wanted to buy a twin adv And according to my budget CB500x was the highest I could have afford but.. they discontinued and then I recently bought SM650 because twin was my 1st priority didn't wanted any single so compromised the ADV and choose cruiser.. Am satisfied with sm650 bo regret but i wish honda launched it or any leak syad mai wait kar leta..
Tyre cost, Service cost and service network(outside metro) are the only pinch points of CB500x, looks like is gonna be the same for Nx500 as well. one time purchasing expense is still understandable consideing Honda realiability. Regular maintanece / operational cost (excluding fuel) will be at least 70% AfricaTwin, buyer needs to be prepared.
