Your first build inspired me to look for some Ek or Egs in Ontario earlier this year. Unfortunately I wasnt able to find anything in my budget but you taking on this build in Ontario will defintely inspire me to take on something like this in the future 🙌🏻

Skunk2 short shifter and some Energy shifter bushings will go a long way with that sloppy shifter. I did it with my ‘95 DC2 Integra and it worked wonders! Can’t wait to see how it is! Committed boi!

Yo Robbie, my first car was a 97 ek hatch just like that but red and automatic. Unfortunately I blew the motor at 268,000 miles and ran out of time and money with plans of manual swapping. Long story short its awesome to see one of my favorite RU-vid take on a project I missed out on! Keep up the great work man!🤙

Exciting news I'm now a Honda boi now I got a ex civic D16y8 1998 no a/c bc it's broken automatic transmission sadly a month ago. They are so much fun because they're so cheap you don't have to worry taking good care of them is pretty cheap. Definitely going to get manual whether it's by swapping or trading.

not sure about bc but i know the pain of registering a car in ontario i come here you dont need to register the car to get plates here in NB the plate is registered to the car not the owner so the plate stays with the car its whole life its nice to see you didnt let the shop go to your head and you are willing to go back to basics

I believe it’s the ej body still because I own the same exact one but mine is automatic and a 2000 I’ve already found myself a p2j crèche head along with the d16y8 intake manifold. It’s awesome that ur doing another Honda Civic build, plus u and another RU-vidr are the reason why I’m doing a civic build myself.
