Today on Jon's Moto Garage we check out a used 2014 Yamaha Star Bolt 950 from Craigslist. Buying and Selling used motorcycles is what we do here on the channel. Let's see if we'll add this one to the crew, or leave it in the dust.
i have a black 2014 base model bolt and daily it. 4000 miles and just got the pc fc and vance and hines vo2 intake installed. has vance and hines comp series exhaust. i covered the upper forks with paracord and it cleaned the bike up really well.
Dang ithink I'd be really scared of bike tipping off with me off the ramp especially backwards. So spooky I'd have to adopt policy of always ride the bike home to prevent squishing myself if it tips ? Thanks. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.
When you were loading up , noticed that the ramps were following a bit of a curve , then saw the crimp back at the Casa before you dropped ir again.... what happened? Lemme guess .... Bubba was over slipped and landed on the tail gate while it was down, but you blamed it on the quad hitting it when you left the camping spot...
Yo mido 5'8" y me queda justo.
Jon's Moto Garage I'm here in Iowa and I want a bike again. I had a Sportster until I destroyed my ankle. So now I'm ready to ride again but big bikes are out of the question with the ankle. So something like a Sportster for the rest of my life. So yes it would be for me to use for many years, so you think it's worth that price?
@@josephpinczer yeah, that's definitely a good price for the yr/mileage. Of course contingent on the bike checking out, but hard to imagine any issues with that mileage. The bolt is a great bike. Not super heavy, but still some good get up and go. I always have a blast ripping around on them.
Jon's Moto Garage thanks I just wanted to make sure I was making a good deal. Could you give me some ideas for 3 things I want to change. I would like to change the air box, exhaust, and add a passenger seat here in the winter after this riding season. I'm a simple guy so I don't wanna do a whole lot to it but those 3 are musts. Can you give me recommendations without breaking the bank? Not looking for top of the line or anything crazy. Thanks
Hey man love your vids! I get that it gets crazy hot in Arizona, but you should really wear a jacket and gloves. Newbies like me look up to you in a way. Best wishes, and ride safe brother!
Thanks for the feedback! You're 100% correct. When I first started uploading I wasn't thinking a whole lot about those things, and I admittedly wasn't the best at wearing proper riding gear all the time. However, I'm making an effort to improve and am more cognizant now of the importance (both for my safety and setting a good example). I appreciate the feedback and thanks a bunch for checking the channel/vids! Ride safe!
Cuban Missile Crisis, Sandy Hook and more were fake I’m assuming you’re a troll, based on your username. I’m only answering your questions in the case that I’m wrong. I presented my statement as a new rider. I spend quite some time watching videos and notice that many motovlogers develop the bad habit of not wearing full gear. New bikers look up to seasoned riders similar to the way a child might look up to their role models; consciously or subconsciously. Being new to something means having to learn from more adept sources. To put is simply, there’s a reason why most Harley riders don’t wear helmets.
Strong evidence indicates the shadow govt and CIA faked the assassination of JFK and Sharon Tates's death - and that's just the beginning in what amounts to the Big Lie that involves a good many psyop's, false flags and hoaxed events. You make a lot of bad assumptions. In which case a person with your mindset doesn't deserve to be presented with the evidence. Go find it yourself.
@@bigfranchise - In other words, in matters dealing with social engineering projects machinated by the CIA, you don't have what it takes. Have a nice day.
Yeah, some of my older vids had audio issues with headphones. My apologies. They should be worked out in the vid from last 5 months or so. Thanks for checking the channels
@@JonsMotoGarage i used to have the same problem when using sena audio pack sometimes and the external wire mic, but yea it works after changing the mic or reseting the sena go pro audio pack
Bin here before to rant......but this second time, ( doing the "what;s changed." run around of various sites....),..... OMG the audio has gone totally South, Bro . No-one can understand a word you are saying,, Fix it ..... Ciao
