The followers of bone since the update have been my go to kill squad when it's time to go in and take an event down, especially if the weeper is nearby
Savages or Spear wives. My opponent tends to fear the spear wives an targets them early game. That tells me how good they are. Spearwives+Jarl is alot of fun.
Hm, i just bought the Free Folk starter set and a unit of spearwves to got into the ASOIF tabletop - and i painted the spearwives unit first. Seems i picked the wrong unit as my first addition to the army - unfortunately...
In the end, there is really no wrong way to play, but the burden of execution is a bit higher on Spearwives as if you make a mistake they are not Insignificant. You can still make them work, though! Try experimenting with setting up one-two punches with raid leaders!
I will do. And i will buy some of the other units as soon as i can afford (and find) them. I am also struggling wether i should buy a second Free Folk starter set a some point in the future. The value is great, no doubt, but right now i would only buy it for the two additional units of raiders. I dont think i would ever field a 3rd or even 4th giant or a second unit of trappers.
