Ah yes. BuzzBee’s takes on the DZ Tomahawk 60 and the X Shot Reflex 6. The priming rod of the Blitz 6 looks almost exactly like the one on the X Shot version. It’s amusing to me that BuzzBee has gone from making their own versions of Hasbro blaster, and now they’re making blasters based on their other competitors.
got this right after seeing mongoose jakes review and threw a quick review on reddit. I rally like this thing and the best comment to describe the looks and colors was 30s tommy gun meets 90s neon
Rebel Mech, Battle Blazer, Blitz 6, Alpha 72, they definitely getting their act straight. I think the tetrashot and triggerfire were only a minor hiccup.
This Alpha Auto thing looks hella cool. I think I will still stick with my Infinus and the 50 round Titan drum if I want a large starting capacity flywheeler that I'm reloading on the go, but that's not exactly the easiest setup for people to come by. This on the other hand is sitting at Walmart complete with everything a person would need, and I'm sure it will be very popular. Also, mad props for the soundtrack in your video!
I love the company known as buzz bee They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls They are in my walls
The alpha auto 72 is the spiritual successor to the classic auto tommy 20. I guess in 2022 it is no longer acceptable to name blasters after real firearms, but for some reason they made it look more like a thompson smg than the original.
I don't know why, but when you went "Have you modded it yet? Shh! Don't tell Buzz Bee!" I found it funnier than I should have and choked on my drink...Just thought I'd share. lol
The Alpha Auto *just* needs a new cage and some motors and it could be something fierce, that's some great punch and amazing capacity right out of the box even, and the colors just add to how fun this thing is.
Nice review! I still prefer the Tomahawk 60 for both aesthetics and performance. The "slow auto" seems pretty close to what someone can achieve with the semi-auto of the T60 anyways.
Buzz bee normally sells extra parts separately if you just call their customer service line so I think getting extra drums could be relatively easy. They did it with buzz bee destiny clips (they ran out, sadly, i tried to get some) and battle blazer chains as far as i know.
The Auto 72 is pretty cool, be interesting to see what some modded ones will be like. Definitely think it would be great if they sold extra drums separately, its quite a beast to reload if you are in a bit of a spot, although scavenging darts does look pretty easy generally. 😃
I have both of these, the alpha auto although not the fastest does what its supposed to do and I enjoyed it, although much prefer my Tomahawk to it. And the Blitz 6 once I removed the yellow piece and the AR performance was truly amazing without the AR I did get shots of 110 feet at an angle of course lol
Having extra drums would be cool, but where would you put them? They're huge. No pouch fits these monsters. You'd have to stick em in a backpack of sorts and wear it on your chest to be able to reach it. Or captain america one onto your forearm. I have trouble taking an extra pyragon drum into war and these are even bigger. The reload challenge is a good idea, but I present to you the 'tactically carrying extra drums' challenge.
Great review as always! I’m still massively unimpressed with the blasters. The blitz six is a more expensive and worse in every way (except fps, I guess) version of the destroyer (which itself is a reflex clone). The auto 72 is a cool concept but is massive, clunky and ugly. Its colors (and most of the recent buzz bee range as well tbh) nauseates me. The fire rate is depressing and is likely to not be super easy to upgrade due to the likely complexity. I’m sure it appeals to sone people, but for the 30$ I’d much rather have a Matrixfire.
