For the top I used an 8 guard and for the sides i went from a 2 guard blending to a 1 guard

haha, thanks man! appreciate your post! i used to have a buzzcut a year ago and tried out the beardgrowth. but unfortunatly my beard isn't as packed as i want it to be. I might go back to a buzzcut later this summer!

I used the Nr 8 guard. the 25mm one.
