I genuinely feel like this is the most non-fake ghost hunting series. The fact that, even at the very end, they still haven't been able to get enough evidence to say they're real, really makes me believe them much more than any other ghost hunter series.

I think its because whenever they get evidence such as flying orbs or disembodied voices, they don’t pass it off as instant ghost evidence like every other show, which in a way makes the show more genuine than it should be. Which is why I find the series so interesting as well since we get 2 perspectives on ghosts, and that is from both shane and ryan.

I found them both to be too annoying this season. Now Ryan is making a mockery out of ghost hunting and not just Shane neither of them took it serious at all. Glad it's over because there was no seriousness or professionalism whatsoever especially this last season.

It's really hard for people, particularly men, to find a friend that not only has the same interests as you, but actually genuinely cares about you; and Ryan and Shane found that. They clearly give each other something that the other needs/wants. A real, friendship like that is something rare, never let it slip through your hands.

I honestly love the fact that Ryan wanted to have a definitive goodbye to this show, because thinking about it now too many shows get cancelled or go under without any feelings of closure. The last episode and this extra one definitely gave the fans one last hurrah, and I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to the BFU Crew and Ryan & Shane. A lot of people's lives would not be the same without you guys.

This honestly saddens me so much. Ryan & Shane’s investigations were the only thing I watched Buzzfeed wise, I hope they keep up with investigating the paranormal & visiting “haunted & demonic” places for their own channel (Watcher) because I’ve beyond enjoyed the dynamic those two have in those situations for the last 5yrs.

crying. when Ryan was talking about how the audience grew up with this show I lost it. I started watching this show in my sophomore year of highschool and now I'm in my freshman year of college. I'm an adult. This show has been a constant for many years of my life and it's heartbreaking to watch it end. but I'm so happy and proud for Shane and Ryan and the entire crew for what they have created and I'm incredibly excited to see what everyone creates from here on out. Thank you for the comfort this show has brought me in some horrible patches of my life and for the friends I've made through our love for this show and those like it. Thank you for it all.

A few weeks ago I was kinda in denial of the show's ending and I couldn't make myself watch this because I knew I was going to cry for hours. But even now when I know it's not all over I still tear up. What an amazing show and beautiful ending! To think five years ago I was 16 years old, going through such a rough patch in my life when I found this. Now I have my stepson, and my 1 year old son, two dogs and an amazing husband at 21 watching the goodbye. I’m bawling. This show got me through so many heart breaks, fights with my mom, this was my get away! When I was in labor this was my request. I have fallen asleep to watching this show for 5 years. My heart will always be with this show.

my best friend and i would spend our AP art class set up in the spare room senior year cause nobody used it and we would pull up unsolved episodes on the projector and sit and draw and discuss the evidence and the cases together. this is show means so much to me and her and i’m so happy you guys were able to finish it out so wonderfully. thank yOU guys for putting together such an amazing show!

I don't know if I'm the only one who's clinging to the hope, that Ryan and Shane will continue their ghost adventures in their new channel. Perhaps what the entire crew doesn't realize is, all of us fans would do ANYTHING to do ghost hunts like they do. We all want knowing the history of a place, experiencing the adventure, and to have this sense of unknown danger by going to these places. We're all lovers of the concept of the paranormal, whether you're a skeptic or a believer. Like Ryan said, it bridged the gap of these two forces, and that's why we're all here. I'm glad Unsolved existed. I'm glad Ryan and Brett had those conversations on their drive to work. I'm glad Ryan saw Shane that day. I'm glad that the show grasped the skeptic AND believers in our hearts. I'm glad that I waited every Saturday, for five years, for a new Unsolved episode. I'm glad to have existed at the same time as Unsolved, and sad for fans that may have passed without witnessing it end today. I may be sad that it ended, but I will forever be glad that it happened.

@@Heyitsmaria24 it's why I never skip any ads on this channel and in their new one. I believe it helps them get the revenue to start another ghost adventure. Of course, it's gonna be a new format, but because there's a lot of ghost content not just in America and in London. I guess it's okay though. The pandemic is still going on, and the boys should be safe. It's just really, *really* difficult to see this series end.

If Ryan and Shane don't start an unsolved show on Watcher I'd be super shocked. They made buzzfeed SO much money with this premise...to not continue it would be such a waste! Steven can't do a "Worth It" for Watcher since majority of his staff (and Andrew) aren't with him, but literally every staff person in this doc came over to Watcher with Ryan and Shane...they can just pick up where they left off like the Try Guys did.

This year in my AP US History class, we were learning about the colony of Roanoke and a couple of friends and I got the teacher to have us watch the Unsolved episode in class. For the rest of that unit, whenever the teacher brought up Roanoke, we would have a laugh about how "the college board probably wouldn't accept 'aliens' as an answer in an essay response" lol But yeah, it was hilarious to see my classmates legit taking notes as Ryan and Shane's antics were being projected on the whiteboard. Finally made myself watch this documentary. I knew it was going to be hard to say goodbye because this show has been a big part of my life for a really long time. I found this series when I was in middle school and now that the series is ending, I'm in college. I really like what Ryan said about him and the audience growing up together because I feel that's very true for me and this series. All I have left to say is: ghoul boys forever.

Honestly, this show more than anything taught me how to discuss respectfully things I don't agree with. And also to not take myself so seriously. That was very useful the last few years. Wasn't expecting this to be the last episode ever of the unsolved series but it really is the perfect way of saying goodbye. Even though Ryan and Shane has been the face of the series, this documentary does truly showcase that it really takes an entire crew to create these masterpieces. It felt personal to hear what the unsolved family had to say in these interviews and really gave the closure us fans needed. You legends will be missed.

I used to watch this show while I was going through an abusive situation with my ex. I am still going through it due to custody stuff, but regardless this show is one of the few ones I find myself watching to remind myself there is joy in the world even in the darkest of places. Back in the beginning of 2019 I was going through a really nasty divorce trying to start a new life alone with my two children and it was some dark times and this show was my light that kept me laughing, I kept it on repeat on Hulu and I would just watch it non stop just laugh and to remind myself that things will get better. I started watching Unsolved around the time I was in middle school to elementary school, and now I’m in high school. I don’t think I realized how much of an impact this show had on me until I realized it was ending. I never had the heart to watch the last ep and the documentary until now but I finally did it and it made me more emotional than I thought it would. I wanted to thank the entire Unsolved crew for their amazing hard work. Love you all so much

I can’t believe this series almost wasn’t allowed to continue. I’m so glad people got to watch these videos full of so much character, humour, history and friendship. Although I’d seen memes before, I only started watching Unsolved while I was in the final stretch of writing my MA diss and I’ve been watching ever since, binging all the past episodes and watching everything on Watcher. I’m almost sad to have finally become a fan while the show is ending but more than that, I’m glad it have been able to experience it. I hope everyone in the team finds enjoyment and fulfilment in whatever they tackle next and I hope they can look back at this series with the same bittersweet nostalgia that the fans do. You’ll never see this comment, I’m sure of it. But I’d like to take the time to thank you both, as well as the whole crew for the hard work you’ve all put in to give us this series we all love so much. I can’t tell you what is so appealing to me about the show, but I can tell you that it got me through the death of my grandfather, absolutely all of college, the coronavirus pandemic, and every little bump in the road along the way. Whenever I get sad about the humdrum monotonous slog of modern life, I listen to the audio of this show and feel better. I absolutely LOVE the Buzzfeed Unsolved series, so there's that, but as I watched this episode, the images of everyone who was involved (cast and crew), the friendships that have been borne and statements like we'll still hang out and get beers together, I envision someone approaching this entire team for a movie, fashioned with the 80's movie "St. Elmo's Fire" vibe. All of your ENORMOUS following would totally watch, if not on the big screen (which is what I personally would hope for), a Netflix deal. I plan to binge watch all of the unsolved episodes again and again. You make me belly laugh every time!

I discovered this show during quarantine last year, but it became so surprisingly important to me. I never was the kind of person to be interested in true crime or paranormal investigations, but seeing Shane and Ryan interact, their friendship and the way the show always seemed to be something they enjoyed making really got to my heart. @@rutendo4864 lol, yeah. And so much of it being filmed in darkness. But I remember him having caught many "ghosts" whch I believe are often squatters or something. Honestly, sometimes I genuinely feared for these guys' safety - not from the ghosts but from possible squatters who might wanna harm them to get hands on their equipment to make money. Or that time when they were at the goatman's bridge and I was convinced they were very VERY close to some weird cult meeting in the woods. I mean, that is way more scary to me than the idea of encountering ghosts.

This show means so much to all the fans, it truly was a show where we all got to grow up like Ryan said. I started watching Unsloved when I started university & I graduated only a few months ago. Like 25 year old Ryan I have a lot of passion but no direction and this short documentary reminded me that we all have a path to follow-no matter how ridiculous it may seem 😂. Being a creator myself, the part around 27:48 was really inspiring. Love seeing people doing what they love and I’m gonna miss this show

This whole crew is like when you go on a school trip and at the end of it, everyone is quiet because they're all exhausted and calm. I think that's one of the most vulnerable and bonding moments you can have with someone to let you know what they really are like.

literally grew up with this series for 5 years. since season 1. it sucks to see it go but i’m happy i made so many new friends and memories with this series!! thank you unsolved

I can’t imagine anyone trying to sell this series without Shane and Ryan. The show format is awesome, but what made it the success it was was the chemistry and great personalities of the hosts. I don’t feel it would have been nearly as successful with anyone else at the desk. There’s just no way.
