Buzzin' Around is a 1933 American Pre-Code comedy film starring Fatty Arbuckle.
Cornelius (Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle) invents a liquid which makes objects unbreakable and resilient. Unfortunately he grabs the wrong jar when heading out to demonstrate his invention. One mishap follows another in this slapstick comedy.

I love how even though this was a talkies, Roscoe still pantomimed. In my opinion, if it can be shown through action, it should be.

Roscoe was a comic genius & a gentleman loved by as many today as then. Despite the lies and rubbish thrown at him. He has the last laugh as he is still making us laugh in 2022.

This is brilliant. I once saw the entire film at a Sons of the Desert (Laurel and Hardy club) meeting, and it shows how well Arbuckle adjusted to sound and made a comeback after his unjustified rape/manslaughter trial, while still keeping his pantomime prowess up through the talkies. The whole film concerns a liquid Arbuckle invents to make china and similar objects unbreakable. If someone has the entire film, please post it. Thanks.

Roscoe Arbuckle is so funny. I must buy his talkies. Sad that lies ruined this great mans life. What great and many movies he could have done in the 20:s.

It's now available in decent quality as an extra on the One Way Passage (1932) Blu-ray, released by Warner Archive Collection.

Love these old films for the entertainment value, but I really love how they captured a location in a moment of time that has long since past. If you're like me check out: silentlocations.com
