@@rspstimararnah man, Hilly was definitely running it but if anyone on that team is the best player it's Carzzy by a mile and after that it's Photon. Vetheo just doesn't fit this teams style and maybe the overall meta in LEC since he doesn't leave his lane ever. I wouldn't be surprised if he was last in the league when it comes to roaming which is what Hilly wants to do all day. He also constantly needs jungle attention to fix his lane which again takes away the ability of other lanes to make plays or go for vision pushes in the enemy jungle.

@@mahatmaniggandhi2898 Vetheo is only good if he's the best player on the team and everything revolves around him. He'll never leave his lane, never give up cs but will also eat up a ton of jungle attention to fix his waves etc. All that to then go even or be 10 cs ahead at 15 minutes while the other guy has roamed all over the map, helped his jungler to invade, got objectives, etc. Vetheo was clearly very good on Misfits but sadly he never developed any further as a midlaner.

On one hand, it's funny if Bwipo makes these hot takes and then proceeds to be somewhat of detriment to his team due to his feast or famine playstyle. On the other, he's not necessarily wrong in saying what some people think but are too afraid to agree with.

Nobody is afraid to dunk on NA or EU players, we ALL know those regions are washed and they get trash talked every time people have the opportunity Only G2 and TL recently could defend their bases against eastern teams, the rest gets stomped so hard it's not funny FlyQuest C9 and Mad all get the title of fastest airport speedrun every time they face asian teams

He is absolutely right when it comes to pros being allowed and paid to be mediocre. He might be unprofessional and not in prime but it doesn't make him wrong. I think it's a less of an ego problem and more with certain drive he has for the game and frustration with pro players that do not have it in his eyes.

I mean some of these takes are very clearly very over the top and I'd bet if you actually sat down with Bwipo he would at least take down some of the hyperboly but honestly I love him sticking up for his friend who he's known for years and had great success with in the past and actually calling out some players who usually get by because everyone is just blaming Hilly (not to say that Hilly hasn't been inting but he's also not entirely responsible for Vitalitys bad results).

Love to see him having Holly's back. Hilly clearly cared a LOT and is such a legendary European player. Did he have a bad split? Yes. Did he have bad periods before? Yes. Is he to this day the ONLY support in EU besides Mikyx who could, at their peak, consistently beat the best Asian duos in lane? Also yes. Was he part of the best bot of the west from 2018 all the way to 2022? Yes again. Does every part of this Vitality roster besides maybe Carzzy go against how Hilly wants to play the game? Absolutely. Is Vetheo the midlaner who spends the least amount of time outside of his lane in the entire league? You bet. Does he still need constant jungle attention to fix wavestates? Yup. Does he have to play with a rookie jungler who has barely had any time to adjust to the LEC level and who won't be able to keep up with Hillys chaotic playstyle? Mhm. Is his toplaner good at laning but wants the game to be absolutely streamlined in the mid and lategame? Yes. Hilly, Perkz, Jankos, Wunder, Upset, Odo, and many more who are now getting scapegoated are some of the best players to ever play in the LEC and can even now be leagues above people like Sheo, Nuc, Freskowy, Adam or Supa. Put some respect to their names.

I still think it's nice to see him care so much about a former teammate and friend but yeah he could just as well have just talked to him personally and helped him in that way. I would guess that he was propably pretty overwhelmed with his emotions and wasn't really thinking about that but yeah, that was definitely not the way to communicate something like that to the community. Especially him going in on the other players on Vit the way he did.

The Jojo part is so true man!. Everyone blaming Jojo went the guy was the only one creating action. You see Blaber sleeping, just doing nothing the whole game, like he lost his balls and guts to do something and fight stuff and get into scrambles or to engage. Berserker was another pacifist. C9 playing like they were trying to put enemy to sleep like they were Rogue and expecting the enemy team to fall off their chair sleeping and just surrender the game. Jojo try to squishy something while the rest of C9 just said "ok..." and never wanted to fight and push leads further. They just fell back doing nothing because they didn't wanted to take any fight or matchup or lane. All they did "No. Draft too bad. Can't win. Let's just give the game at minute 2"

They got stuck where they were and haven't shown any sign of progression. Meanwhile guys like nuc who was considered not even ERL level level and Irrelevant who was considered the wost or at best second worst player of that MSF roster after them working really hard they are now one of the best players in their position in LEC. Guys that were not lazy to train, not having ego to not listen, humble to accept other people's opinion. When Bwipo talked about "If I was in one of their places .." he mean that EVEN him would make VIT go to Worlds, not that he is a savior and the best player ever. Look, Hilly was turbo running in same parts of current years but as the best engage support players in the world he is live or die on teammates following up on his engages. And if not he will look like a complete bum. I bet putting Delight or On on this roster with a condition that his solo laners don't trust them and their jubglers are rookies who they need to teach the sup-jungle synergy they will look comparably bad as Hily was

Dark Bwipo has been the most entertaining thing on the scene. Love it I respect Bwipo standing up for HIly who received the most criticism while you see players like Vetheo and Proton playing for themselves leaving the whole team stranding. Only worrying about their CS number. Dudes just playing the lanes and after that never join anything the team wants to do. Never helping the teammates to get things out, never moving unless is a thing that benefit them, never moving with the team.Those 2 offer so little towards winning or finding success. Vetheo and Photon straight up playing soloQ games on pro play with 0 knowledge of macro or how to work as a team or to achieve for greatest or improvement. Look at Bwipo this dude truly cares about improvements. He clearly loves league and want the west to beat Asian teams. He truly feels like he got a debt with the fans and want to repay them giving. He appreciated the fans being dedicated,committed and lending their time to follow teams and care about the result. He's passionate and emotional because he wants to break this depressing era of West teams are shit and will always be shit. He wants everyone to step up,work harder and reward fans of the western team to feel happy,joyful and like isn't a waste of time to support this team and players. We need players like Bwipo who truly gives a fuck about fans instead of just brushing them away. A player who cares about increasing the competitive level of the west and who cares and want to bring positive results to the west. We need more players like Bwipo who are willing to put their emotional out and showcase he cares. We need more dudes like him and less players like Vetheo,Jojo and many others who are just happy being there getting paid millions of dollars and never doing content, never showcasing their emotions, never trying to connect with fans, never trying to look for ways to raise the competitive floor of the region, never listening to players, never sharing or asking for knowledge about the game to improve. You can say whatever you want about Bwipo, but one thing you can't never say about him is that he didn't tried, didn't care about raising the level of LCS. Dude always delightful to fans and always look for ways to reward the love the fans showcase for the teams.

Elyoya gapped them both and Jankos was smurfing and was at minimum playing better than Inspired that summer, especially the latter half. No need to rewrite history, neither of these players have ever ran the LEC. Inspired was only the best jungler S11 spring and Bwipo was perma behind Elyoya S11 summer.

@@markjugson-vx9go and even in S11 Inspired wasn't the best, people usually forget that he played with 3 winning/strong laners, Odo, Prime Larssen, Prime Hans (not the joke he's now) and Trymbi. LS just wanted a new boyfriend... Bwipo can talk as much as he want, but that year it was Upset the one carrying. So yeah, Elyoya and Jankos were "miles ahead" of Bwipo, and Elyoya was "miles ahead" of everyone that year, having to play with Armut, Kaiser and int Carrzy (not the actual & good one).

I'm pretty sure he's diagnosed with ADHD so maybe there's something going on there. He's also very emotional here because Hilly is a very good friend to him and he is getting dragged by the community a LOT right now for things that are (at least in Bwipos opinion) not his fault or at least partially to blame on others on that team who don't get nearly as much blame as Hilly gets. It's kinda understandable to be honest to lash out like he did in a situation like this in my opinion. Happens to me a lot too only to then later reevaluate those takes, the problem is that he's a public figure and it happened on stream.
