Oh, there's plenty of weight on the front end of that tractor....the front axle is geared slightly higher, it pulls the tractor along when you are in 4WD, contrary to what people would think a tractor doesn't have equal 4x4 output like a 4x4 pickup does....with a tractor the front wheels in 4WD do the pulling they spin slightly faster than the rear wheels, which is why the front end tries to pull the tractor all over the place...add more rear weight and it'll help keep the tractor planted. I have the BX2680, I don't plow snow with it, but I find I run out of traction pretty quick with it doing loader work mostly when I am using the pallet forks, you get weight out there on the front end and that back end gets even lighter LOL. I have the loader and a rear grading blade if I do need to move snow, but I also have a snow blower for my lawn tractor which works better I think, as you aren't trying to push the snow like you do with a plow. I don't have chains for the Kubota, but I do have them for the lawn tractor, anything more than about 3 inches of snow and I have to put the chains on the lawn tractor...it works great, but a snow blower or plow on the Kubota would have been better money spent, but at the time I didn't have the Kubota...and the dang snow blower for my lawn tractor cost more than the lawn tractor did.

I wish the Deere plows were that robust. It's like they just upsized a garden tractor plow.
