I HAVE NEVER seen so many hey-tors in my life. You do realize that this is GREATNESS, right!?! You do realize that musically, he is probably the most talented musician alive today, right!?! He took an Eflat wind instrument, a teno sax that is made octaves below a violin, and not only played better lines than the violin in it's octave with better phrasing and articulation, but actually can emulate said violins actual pitch and sound in tune! You all clearly have no appreciation for real jazz or talent. I'm willing to bet that 99% of you all that say these things have no real musical concept jazz, and 99.9% of you can't even do. 01% of what he is doing. Shame
Carter seems like he has so much fun, just playing around. Lotsa funny but still cool stuff. Dont hear many others use growling and that strong end vibrato like he does. And the "benny hill" short tones too :P great stuff
All fantastic performers. As a sax player carter is one of my favourites but I get if you aren't a honkers you may not appreciate his style, particularly in this combo. I love the fact that he just does his thing regardless. He is actually quite restrained here, like a Ferrari driven slowly in a parking lot. With the odd burn out...

I an 84 and JC and he likes to call himself (like the second coming of Coltrane?), doesn’t have John’s golden voice or imagination. A good player but not innovative into the future like my music. I will knock off all your socks when I visit US
