As tribute bands go, it's going tobe hard to find a better one. CARS songs are so iconic that you find yourself getting lost in the lyrics, music and melodies. Within minutes, I was doing the same thing with this three song trilogy. Thanks for the songs. It was "just what I needed".
Three songs in a row on an album. I can't honestly remember any better three right now. Not played live anyways. I agree it passes the blind listening test.
Just found about you guys and after listening to the classic ending of one of the great debut albums of our generation, has me wanting more,BRAVO guys!❤🎸😎👍
With the sound, the look, and classic Cars' cryptic lyrics this takes me to an era of new wave music coming on the scene where I found my life put to music as mixed up as my ex-girlfriend now dating my best friend was, while nights were moving in stereo to the beat of mystical music telling me deep inside that it was just what I needed to be in touch with your world.
This passes the blind listening test - when I'm listening in the background, I can forget that it's not the Cars. Whoever did the mixing did an excellent job too.
I’d have to second this. I’ve been a severe OCD Cars fanatic since 1978,, and at WORST, I could hear these as one of their ‘demo’ versions. Very well done!
Thanks for posting and great job. "All Mixed Up" is one of my all time favorite songs, always reminds me of the girl I lost my virginity to. I left it to her, and everything was alright. Lol.
When I was 11 years old I learned to play drums to that album..... I played all of the songs on that album over and over and over again.... There's not a single nuance of note or vocal that is off at all. Every single thing that is on that album is included with this band at this date kudos to you boys you were doing it Justice......keep rocking
OK, I'm listening to this in November 2020. And I REALLY hope you're still doing this! I have been a Cars fan for decades, DECADES and I will tell you this was so great!!! Made me realize how much I miss them. You do a wonderful job on the Ben Orr songs. I'm going to check out your YT channel and see what elseyou have. @@danpolitano in 1980 I was friends with a band renting a room at a rehearsal building in Cambridge. I walked down a hallway and all 5 Cars were coming right toward me. They stopped, we chatted, they were gracious. Nice memory.
