Mickey is a big boy he is bigger than Dopey🐒 now Arroz I am calling you out on Mickey not having a Mac Attack. Oh yes he will there is sometjing about getting weaned away from the teat where they ALL freak out in some way shape or form....I have not seen a baby yet who has not had a teat attack..
The babies always went to nurse and sleep at the time of *High Tea. They're foraging much more and playing harder and maybe the younger ones are just tired and want to sleep in the safety of their Mother's arms. Human babies need afternoon naps. Maybe monkey babies do too but they can't just lay down and sleep, they're on alert all the time. It looked like Dopey would have fallen asleep without nursing but Reddy kept grooming and moving and he couldn't. It's good to see our babies doing so well but if Reddy is pregnant little Dopey is going to have to learn to do without sleepy time in Mom's arms. It will be interesting.
He's playing away more often nowadays - even if there's a new baby coming which I doubt Dopey probably isn't going to compete with it for mum's attentions.
There comes a point where human toddlers don't go to sleep on time at night if they keep taking naps, so sometimes you keep them awake just so they're tired enough to pass out at bedtime. Maybe Reddy's doing that here.

Isn't Mickey a month younger than Dopey? Never mind, I went and looked it up. ☺️ Poor Dopey with his pitiful sounding whines, whistles, and chirps! Also his "puffing", although this time it was very subtle. So adorable!
Good job mom hold strong and that brat is definitely to big to be riding on her or nursing all these monkeys I believe have forgotten where they came from and how their lives should be shoot the one that was nursing was to big also crazy.
I have to say I apologize for the few times when I had got a bit upset with Reddy being too easy on him, a mother knows best! She is one hell of a mum! She knew when "he" was ready and able to handle it mentally/physically (I still think IMO that she waited a bit too late to start the beginning stages of weaning bc it caused Dopey to become too spoiled and a brat over the nipple) nether-less, she is finally standing her ground. (This is just my opinion and I could be wrong but I feel Reddy knows she's early preg. and knows she has to crack down big time on this one in order to be ready when a possible new one comes..Again, I could be completely wrong but it's what my instinct says.) Mickey is a whole month younger than Dopey and yet Dopey has been on the tit in the past SO much more than Mickey ever has! I am shocked Mickey hasn't ever thrown any type of tantrum ever that's I've seen. In fact, never seen Mickey being weaned either which is shocking that Lizzy hasn't already started yet. Then again, Mickey isn't always stuck to the tit either. He's a happy go lucky baby who's easy going and NOTa brat like some others. Dopey seems to be getting louder/brattier during his fits when mum doesn't give in, that's exactly it.. I think in the past he always knew she would eventually give in. Then he would start his faking stunts, then throwing his light tantrums and when that eventually wouldn't work he now is acting like a total brat not getting what he wants.. Poor guy.. Time to grow up bud....life isn't always peaches, being coddled in mummy's lap,sleeping whenever, and esp nursing off and on all day long whenever you choose to..He's a big boy now (despite his overall size) but mentally your becoming a big boy now.. No more tit! Lol..
In real time he's 11 months old. I'm not sure how long the delay is between filming and posting, so only Arroz can tell us how old the little guy is in this video. My not-so-educated guess is 8 or 9 months. :)
