Let's not forget QB is a 19 year old kid. He has a lot of expectations to live up to. He is handling all this pressure fairly well. I think he will surprise us all next season.

I’d say he’s on the right track still but he’s definitely behind expectations. He’s been disappointing so far and that’s not much of a debate. Asides from getting a longer stick and applying his body more all of his deficiencies are things that naturally progress with time. He still has clear first line upside but his game is very raw and there’s a lot of work that needs to be done but I’m very excited about his future

Raymond would have been a better choice, natural goal scorer

Raymond was never in the discussion at 2 during the draft year. Their careers both have just started and by the end of it, there is still quite a few paths where Byfield has a better career. Time will tell.
