I live in France and a friend of mine had severe wrist pain that didn't show up in any x-rays. In France, there's a type of treatment that's popularly known as 'kiné', short for kinésithérapeute, which is officially recognised and can be prescribed by doctors. My friend had 10 sessions of 30 mins prescribed. After trying to stretch his wrist back and forth, he had to stop because it was causing too much pain. The kiné tried to treat it by deep massaging the tendons in the wrist and forearm in order to provoke them to heal, but by the third session, no progress. Then she had an idea that had worked on a previous patient and began massaging the right side of his neck. It caused him considerable pain but barely after 10 minutes, he suddenly felt as if heat was evacuated from the right shoulder down to the right arm. The pain went away albeit temporarily. He had a few more session focused on his neck and now he no longer has any pain in his wrist. Apparently there was a very contracted muscle on the right side of his neck that was pinching a nerve. The human body is a complicated thing.
I have said this a few times, but the 4k is amazing mate!! Thanks for the effort and casts. I haven't played SC2 in YEARS, your casts are enough for the SC2 fix.
Pig I gotta say, excellent professional level commentary. You are my favorite caster, such good calls, your analysis while the game is going is god tier. Thanks for the content!
Hopefully Bluey can bring Aussie culture to the masses.I felt so sophisticated when they said sanger and I got to say I know what that is cause PiG taught me! lol
the first time I tried to take ladder seriously and got to diamond 3 the games got more intense and my hands went completely numb in a particular pvt match. in the moment I fought through the pain and ended up losing but what I realized afterwards is that I was incredibly tense and stressed from the game. after a 45 minute break the pain went away and I played a pvz that also happened to be an intense game. went numb again but this time it was worse. I won that game but my hands were in severe pain and again I was tense and stressed from taking the game too seriously. took some time off (few weeks or so) and started playing with a calmer mentality. not worried about losing, just learning the game. felt some pain but focused on relaxing and as I got better at the fundamentals of the game the numbing stopped and eventually hit d2. I have no wrist issues at all nor have I ever, it was a new experience. now imagine the stress on a emotionally involved player like Byun playing for thousands of dollars in premiere tournaments.
PiG, you are saying the word “word” funny. It’s pronounced “wo-deu” where I’m from. In fact, every English caster I know seems to get it wrong. I wonder why that is. Stale jokes aside, much love from Korea! I’ve been enjoying your casts immensely! Working through the list one at a time.
concerning Byuns wrist: It is completely possible his pain is entierly psychosomatic. I saw two professional violinists talk their extreme experience with it: (Twosetviolin opening up about our mental health)
Man zvt is so zerg favored right now. Dark is really playing right into it. Terran just can't take map control anymore. Dark is so good at playing the map, but it's just so imbalanced. The mine change was the biggest mistake of the balance counsel. If terran needed to be weaker they should have hit the tank. Map control is just too big of an advantage for zerg to just automatically have it.
idk what you mean by this. Byun lost g1 because he made a very weird attack that should never work and it didnt, he lost g3 because he didnt wall off his main and lost 5 workers to 6 lings, and he lost g4 to cheese he didnt scout properly. Theres nothing about map control or zerg op about this series. Byun messed up in 2 of 3 of his losses. As for balance, if anything terran rn is probably the best race in the game due to map pool favoring them. There are maps where T has 70% wr at pro level. Dark/Serral/Reynor are the only high level zergs atm so they still perform well but other pros arent doing nearly as good.
English lesson: All other forms of English outside of North America (that's the original UK English plus Australian English, New Zealand English, Continental African English - South Africa and Zimbabwe, etc.) all spell it as Aluminium and pronounce it as such. North Americans are the freaks and it's sad that US English will win the language war because it's predominantly used in spellcheckers and on TV shows...
Last few RU-vid videos you’re going on about your accent and shit. We know you are Australian, fuck anyone who doesn’t like how you talk. That’s just you.
Im a huge Zerg fun, but to win a game on 10 min with only ling and baneling is just stupid. Zerg have to much time to play comfortable with only ling + bling and 7-8 queens, imagine protoss stays to long only zealot and stalker, instant lose.
