Points about Serral are very on point. Did you see the Serral vs. Cure games from WTL just last week, Pig? Really highlights what you said about forward-mining the bases. Serral does it in one of the games Cure turtles and even though the game drags for like 30 minutes there is like a 0% chance of Serral ever losing that game because of how he starts locking down win conditions for the end game as early as possible

Pig echoed my comments exactly about Maru vs. Serral in Atlanta. It looked like Maru didn’t even prep for Serral. Just straight up lazy shit work ethic. Meanwhile Oliveira worked his ass off and that’s why he took Serral for a ride. Definitely lost respect for Maru after that tournament, because for the #2 player in the world to not even try studying and prepping how to beat the #1 is ridiculous and embarrasing. If Oliveira’s the people’s champ, then Maru is the people’s chump. Not for nothing but that’s why Oliveira smoked Maru for the world champion title too; he just worked harder and deserved it more.

Broodlord+WINfestor is so effen annoying

I still am convinced that Terran is way too easy to play. The Marine/Medivac/Stim combo is WAY too much mobility for too little investment, with absolute no counter at that stage of the game. You cannot crack their base either, 1 tank behind a wall is enough. Requires no actions either. The map-layouts are literally all catered towards Terran being able to hold location by location without ever having to worry. Not to mention how little macro fighting itself requires. Dropping units in a specific location is a move that requires 2 actions, while defending against that would effectively require 100 actions. Now compare this to a zerg who constantly needs twice as expensive units to defend against their fucking base unit. Tier 1 air units in general should be something that dies to 4 hydra shots, simply to punish sloppy game play on terran side. it is the zerg player that has to pay attention, the medivac on the other hand can fly through 2 spores and still unload. All the more impressive how Serral is tearing them apart, he is a class on his own. Dark would get there as well, if he bothered, but this guy is just having fun.
