In Multiplayer and within dynamic campaigns this would be a game changer, and you even have the option to shoot up stuff quite heavily with those guns.

Well i dont know how viable full on full fidelity flying giants would be, because there is a serious reason these usualy have a crew of over 5 people... (pilot workload etc) but it does show that people wouldnt mind flying something different then a supersonic fighterjet. Personally i think some smaller 2 seater ground support plane would be great for dropping some bombs, lasing targets, giving a strategic overview etc

Thanks Cap and GR for doing some Herky stuff! Minor point to make, on takeoff roll, C-130 crews callout "60 Knots" and "Go" on the takeoff roll. 60 knots is the speed to transfer control to the Co-pilot if it's a right seat takeoff, the speed to use rudder instead of nosewheel steering, and also something of a decision speed, although for emergencies an abort can be conducted above 60 knots if necessary.

Love your videos CAP!!!! As a retired USAF C-130E/H Flight Engineer this was really cool to watch. Even though its a J model :) One little thing its not a Cargo gate, it a Ramp and Door. Also for a Max Effort Landing you'd use 100% flaps. (looked like you set 50%) Awesome work ... just gotta figure out how to get in and mess with it :)

2:31 I always love these moments, and it never happened :) I'm impressed by the fact the cargo transfer works totally without scripts like CTLD... what a great mod, this makes logistics far more doable in MP scenarios. Still don't get why ED thinks noone would want that. I remember flying Heinkels (for the lack of flyable Ju-52s) as cargo planes into Stalingrad back in the old Il-2 on the FBOW server which was a community project that made the DF server quite dynamic - and logistics was quite a vital part of the whole battle. As the saying goes, fighters and bombers may win a fight or a battle - logistics will win a war. And TBH, who does not want to hammer things with that 105mm gun?

Hey Cap, how bout some Vietnam-era deliveries by the way of touch n go's and releasing the cargo out the bay while rolling on the strip. The cargo would, irl, have a parachute to slow it down after being released out the back of the C130. Then you just keep your speed up and take back off and head home. Never stopping fully! Do yall think DCS would model that well? Could you para-drop supplies in the first place?? Like Humvees with the tripple chutes, just for them SpecOps guys in the field! That would be tight! Good shit GR's!!!!

Hey Capt if you look at your video at 5.54 / 8.30 . when your cargo was out of the plane you can see the your plane raise up . Indicating the your cargo was very heavy just wondering if you notice that . ?

TOGA is a button that commands the engines to set a programmed power level. It has nothing to do with rockets.

You need to go into the settings, under special and select Hercules. And select steam edition.
