C-130J Pilot goes through an Aircraft Commander Brief and provides a crew an update of the mission and emergency procedures. Loadmasters tend to step significantly earlier than the pilots to start onloading cargo. This brief provides an opportunity to get the whole crew on the same page with any updates since step and basic crew resource management actions.
Takeoff was a standard 4 ship minimum interval takeoff. We were roughly 10 seconds slow getting into position resulting being out of position on departure.
Sorry for the loss of the departure brief. Overhead camera power cable wasn't in all the way and the battery died.
