C-17 CDS Combat Airdrop 

Damn, that’s hardcore. Despite deploying I’ve never done a combat airdrop which is unfortunate.

That was fantastically stunning. I can't believe the aircraft doesn't pitch. How much weight is that? I see a cargo strap at the aft end of the column, and it releases just before the column begins to slide out. Is that strap electronically released, or is the guy of the starboard side releasing it?

Ive seen where they release actual armored ground vehicles, what is the ultimate weight the US can drop, and can they drop Abrahms tanks ?
