absolutely impressive and BIG kudos to u dude.. ur basicaly singlehandedly holding up this game and kept it alive by patches etc. its incredibly heartbreakin to see every single of the c&c games slowely die.. every now and then i try to jump back into it but as u said, its soo hard to find games ;(

I'm inclined to say the heroic Avatar is more appealing to me due to the fact that it's a heavy cavalry unit, but since air units like the Hammerheads and Vertigos are so important, and the heroic Stealth Tank can take care of them, that makes it shoot up in value a tad; being able to do a bunch of burst damage and then fade away is also nice. The Avatar has better sustainability, but sometimes you _don't want_ a sustained fight. It's very close but in the end I'd give it to the heroic Stealth Tank, simply because dealing damage without fighting anyone is better than being good at fighting and winning.

i'd give the argument that against air-heavy factions like GDI the stealth tank is better, because stealth can shoot backwards while running away from Hammerheads/Pitbull groups, taking them out if they chase. I believe maneuverability on heoric units its the diference between a great player such as Mastelaf, and stat checkers when I use them cuz I can't micro as well

The Stank Avatar upgrade made more sense in earlier TW patches where they did a lot less damage and were only 1000$

Low hp stealth tank far from base could be sacraficed to nearby high hp avatar though. Or if your warfactory is gone.

Heroic Stealh tank(ST) cus it can shoot up and on the move. If the heroic avatar could attack on the move it would be the best (maybe a bit op cut it has the most range out of all 3 big chungus units) Basically the ability to kite so well is why the ST is better.

id say it depends:heroic stealth is better if you have a leeway to do guerilla warfare, hero avatar if you are being attacked and need as much firepower as you can get in the moment

Does an ability from the left, like the phase field, sometimes deselect when trying to use? At least that happens for to me. Any way to work around that?

Its best to use those powers with your units de-selected then that wont happen. Its an age old bug that happens when you lose a unit in the selection whilst targeting decal is on screen.

Didn't end up implementing it, focussed on other changes instead. I will be taking an extended break from patching as I was doing too much before, and at this time I'm needed for events and keeping the game afloat (by playing it more).

You dont need Command Post, just run the installers after downloading. I provide links everywhere for it.

I would play this online but i'd just get drilled by someone of leaf quailty everytime. My rag time shuffle strats may put away 2 allied brutals but not any pros
