Lol it's definitely not.i mean it can be boring to the audience but when u yourself are the one playing your gonna feel the weight and intensity of every move.
You guys think this is mostly a joke, but I kid you not this is probably the most realistic representation of how it feels to play a chess game that I've ever seen
@@gentadili4106 yes. The game (itself) does get boring, what makes it interesting is the players. That however is true for most games so it's not really an argument against repetition.
Rook lived his life to the fullest; Faced death without fear, went full monke, killed an entire army, sacrificed himself for his friends, died in glorious battle. A fate fitting for a great hero of Rome.
*Journey of the white rook:* -watched his comrade, the other white rook, get killed in front of him. -saved by the white queen at the last second, then watched her die as well. -immediately avenged their deaths by killing the black queen. -went FULL MONKE and took down much of the black army by himself. -sacrificed himself so that white pawn could unlock his (her?) full potential and become the new queen. Now that's an anime character arc if I've ever seen one.
Oh, god... The character development, the arcs, the story, the twists... Beautiful, truly inspiring. Total Score: 10.1/10 "It's just too good to not be rated high... **sobs** I can't believe that this the final arc. Give me more, damn it!" -Ian (ItsAlwaysNugget) Edit: Not even a month and I've already cringed at my own comment

Rook is one of the best character in this anime. His journey is divided into 3 arc: Arc #1: the beginning/backstory In this arc, he starts of being a mid rank member of the white army, with his best friend(rook#2) and senpai(a queen, a piece with nigh unlimited power) he and his friend played the role of guardians, that is until the black army breached their formation, and killed his friend, he felt powerless only for his senpai, the godess of the battlefield comes to the king's aid. But this relief didnt last long, as another breach forced the king into a corner, the queen, knowing her duty, sacrificed herself for the king's safety, and rook snapped, he avenged his senpai's death by killing his first victim, the black queen. He did it, he protected the king, but at a great cost, it is then that he relized how naiive and unexperienced he was. Arc #2: emptiness Rook, now no longer serve as the king's protector, has instead given himself a new role, the monke, a killer who continuously fought and slain many of the black army member, alongside the white pawns and knights who survived the 1st stage of the war. He drudges on, feeling empty inside, with no motivation than to maybe rack up some kills before he too met his end. It is here that he met a group of young naiive pawns with a dream, of achieving the legend of the "queen's gambit" a mystical and arduous near suicidal journey that may give a pawn the rank and power of a queen. He felt this is pointless, yet he was reminded of his old self. Seeing the hopeful eye and motivation of these pawns reminds him of his own dedication when he first enlists as a rook, the solemn protector of the white king. Arc #3: The meaning of sacrifice, Redemption It is at this point of the war that rook began guiding the pawns, desperately trying to keep them alive, but he kept losing more and more, he saw this last pawn and the battlefield is full of the dead, the last hope of winning the war is to bet on the queen's gambit, but the enemy had attempted the same strategy. The monke, rook, believes that he had one motivatiom left, this war had killed many of his close friends, and turned him into a butcher, so if there is any way of winning this damn war, he will kill for it. And so, he began the hunt, he told his pawn kouhai to simply do a mad dash to the queen's gambit, dont look back, dont slow down, he will drive the enemy away. And he began to rush into the opposite direction, when he finally arrived and located his target, he is surrounded by enemies, led by the black knight, the last remaining high ranking officer of the black army. The fight was brutal, but he manages to kill the last black pawn, thus ending the black army hope of achieving victory, at the cost of his own life. As he slowly succumbed by the black knight's sword, he remembered his friend, and his senpai, he realized this is what the former white queen felt when she sacrificed herself, a single life in exchange of a chance to keep fighting. Rook, in death, was given a redemption, in his last kill, he killed to protect, and to pave a way for a new queen, Rook died knowing that there is only one way for this war to end, and he died happy, knowing that in the end he had regained his motivation of protecting something to him, the last pawn, the new queen. Epilogue As the war ended, monument of former heroes were built to commemorate their contribution to this war, among them was rook's own, now knownnby his nickname, the butcher, the monke. The queen laid a single flower to his grave, just as he had protected and inspired her and the other pawns, it is time for her to do the same, this time, she will be the one who will train the new white army, their entire division wearing the greatsword and shield symbol of the former rook, symbolizing his brutality, and his motivation to protect.
top ten saddest anime deaths, number 1: 2:13 pillar from pawn chess requiem, he died By sacrificing himself so his team would win. His last words where: It’s true, i may die here, but you know what, My hope will never die! My job here is done, the rest is up to you…. Pawn

Jojo Stand Battles are literally chess matches. That's how they feel. It isn't about the stand's power at all, it's how their stands are used that got our heroes out of tricky situations that had odds against them. Even OP Sutar Puratinam nearly lost to a fuckin rat. Part 5 feels the most like chess, with multiple stand users vs Passione, each piece with different varying powers, and a battle to reach Diavolo, and the battle was long-fought and took wits and sacrifice. Which is probably why Part 5 works so well with this meme about Chess.
Puedo afirmar con certeza y goce que he reído en reiteradas ocasiones gracias a esta obra de arte cinematográfica de carácter audiovisual. Cáspita, vaya espléndido humor el autor de semejante comedia.
The absolute best chess games are the ones where it's always close, and the person in the winning position keeps changing. It feels like the most epic battle. Then when you finally get a perfectly executed checkmate it's amazing. Addicting even.
As a "professional" Chess player who almost won 2 tournaments once, I can tell this is how every tournament looks like, except one detail. There's always a kid crying in the background
Well Na3 at 0:59 is a blunder, allowed white rook to penetrate into the pawn structure , black had 2 passed pawns but ya , black threw the game, and white just took advantage.
@@ohlookitisacat7404 the rook didn't even have to sacrifice itself if you move the rook to that file before it's defended by the knight you can just take the pawn for free
Make this a series and you'll probably get more recognition, It's rare to see A chess game in Meme format, but somehow you make it work brilliantly! good luck
Stand Name: [ THE ROOK] Destructive Power: A Speed: B Range: B Precision: D Potential: C Ability: can harden itself any time to make more defensive or offensive approaches.
Let us all have a moment of silence for the last white rook He may have died, but he brought black’s last pawn with him ensuring victory to his comrades, truly a remarkable sacrifice.....
"How can I make my anime list intense?" Me: Jojo "How can I make my spotify playlist intense?" Me: Jojo "How can I make ice tea intense?" Me: Jojo "How can I make chess intense? Me: Jojo "Jojo won't work here buddy" Me: Did I stutter?
Man, I wish I could visualise chess like this. DnD makes interesting stories, but you can use chess to choreograph a fight whilst knowing nothing about actual fights.
@@derpfluidvariant0916 you can actually pull this shit if you have an hillarious audience, this game very popular on our school coz everyone treats it like a rap battle or something.
It's amazing how such a silent relaxing or tense sort of mostly soundless game can be edited into something so entertaining and fun. And loud! XD Wonders of Memers slavaging for new materials and refining it into something Hilarious and Brilliant.
Bro if every chest game was like this I would definitely watch it, even if the tournament version is boring or anything that happened realtime, But it will be great after the edit of the video.
@@austinfletchermusic he meant that after this vid comes out there are a lot of people trying to grow their channel by making random chess meme videos, i get them a lot in my recomended page
Alphamaxnova had already revolutionized the F1 meme scene with his series of F1 race highlight videos back in the second half of the 2019 season, so I'm not surprised that it was the same story for chess 😅
