C.I.E Inchicore Works open Day 1958 

My Grandad worked there from 1930 til 1960, as a Charge Hand, I cant find any info about him though

I was at 15o open day in 2006? my Dad worked there when there were 7000 plus employed there.On my recent visit 250 are employed there.

I was at one of these around that time, got caught having a dump in one of the (stationary) train toilets.

Wow, great to see the A and B class together in such immaculate condition. A46 looks stunning. It would have entered service in the mid 1950s.

Was that Laurel and Hardy being served tea by the waiter at the end? Looks like it, and they spent a lot of time in Ireland then.

Childern climbing all over the place un supervised, I love it. "Health and Safety" would have a canary if they saw this happening nowaday's.ha ha.
