Apologies friend....but all the promises stated by C.S. Lewis are Biblically for believers in Christ and not the RCC...I was born an rc but now I am BORN AGAIN...get out of there ma'am it is the opposite of God's work in HIS church. Find a Bible believing Church and ask God for direction....everything else will fall in line with your willingness and not any effort but sheer longing to seek and find the TRUTH that proceeds from only a ONE TRIUNE GOD who's people are Israel and all the gentiles who will come to believe in His Name, not the Pope in Rome. Please.

Iam sure you were born again by Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Which btw is the Catholic Church. No Pope is perfect, we are all sinners. The Catholic Church is biblical. I thought you would know this. Your friends don't need to be Catholic to be used by Him to strengthen your faith ! ! ! They need to be true biblical believers in the Jesus Christ of the scriptures/bible ! (" in Jesus") & in His sanctification process, as you also need to be.

(His glory & our honor to represent Him well.) i pray Father help me take his word, that my heavenly Father knows what he is doing & that the journey He has me on, (sanctification) is trustworthy.
