Would you be willing to do a Library tour? I appreciated your insight on C.S Lewis signature series and look for to your individual reviews of the books in the set.
Thanks for this overarching review! It's hard to know where to start with CS Lewis so this is helpful. I'm interested in the Christian content on your channel! However- as my husband is currently reading 1984, I'd love to see a book review on that one! Keep the classics alive!
Thank you for the review! Thinking of getting this box set for the sake of convenience, but it really feels like the design doesn't give the content justice. Would happily pay more to get beautiful solid copies that don't look cartoonish 😅
The Great Divorce would be my favorite C. S. Lewis book I've read so far. Not only am I interested in demonology and the topic of Hell (those things seem intriguing to me) - Lewis changed how I view Hell and afterlife. The Great Divorce is such a fascinating read, since it throws you into the mystery of Heaven, Judgement and God's Grace. A lot of Christian modern terminology surrounding grace and judgement make so much sense after you read The Great Divorce. Favorite quote: "There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. To those who knock it is opened." Favorite scene from the book: the scene with an Angel and the man struggling with lust. "May I kill it?". "There's no time"...
