Visit the Iowa State Capitol, the only five domed capitol building in the country. Constructed between 1871-1886, this building with its 275-foot, 23-karat gold leafed dome towering above the city is a favorite of sightseers. The Capitol houses the governor's offices, legislature, and the old Supreme Court Chambers. The ornate interior also features a grand staircase, mural "Westward", and the five-story law library. Tour this historic building with Joan Arnett, Tour Guide Supervisor at the Iowa State Capitol.

This fantastic palace is everything the Minnesota Capitol is not. Sadly, St. Paul’s building is cold, in disrepair and dirty. Whenever it is proposed to spend taxpayer money to upgrade buildings like this, budget “Hawks” shoot it down. This is why Iowa’sCapitol is a building you can be proud of... sadly, Minnesota’s is not.

Just think, My father,. God to you. Gave me the capital my next home. The angels have already designed it it's new look. The domes will be taken off.and the outside will be made to look like a log cabin. Nothing is impossible for God. A.K.A
