rest in peace CW McCall. one of the singers that really got me into country a few years back and inspired me to start playing music myself. he’ll always be one of my favorites. 1928-2022❤️❤️❤️

Ill say this once and ill say it again, C.W Mcall is the best country singer.

My father trucked all over this land. He passed away in 2009. You literally lived this song and took me along for part of the ride. Thanks Dad! I miss you.

Thanks to truck driving, I have been all over the place (but alas, not all 50 states). I missed my kids growing up during those times I drove, but at least got to see them a lot, despite my being gone so much. My wife was a real trooper during those full weeks I was gone. God bless her and my kids for that. Now health has forced me off the road, and while I miss it, I'm back to being a husband again, and that's a pretty good trade-off. God bless all the truckers and their families out there!

I've paid the price for this truckin life.....thats the truth, love it or hate it, once you do it you can't let it go.

This song has got me to respect all truckers and everything they provide.

I really want to get into trucking soon before it's totally ruined. I'm 18 right now and working on getting my CDL soon. Hopefully I can make good memories and have fun trucking stories for future generations.

My early 20s,was fortunate to drive a friend's Kenworth W900 extended hood,Candy Apple red with gold pin-striping,96-inch Double Eagle sleeper and 48-foot stainless steel reefer. Beautiful rig! For six years hit every US state,Mexico and Canada. Best years of my life and CW McCall always transports me back to them.

After 44yrs and4.9 million miles, I can safely say that I REALLY HAVE trucked all over this land!! All 48 states, Canada and Alaska. I figure another couple of years and I'm gonna go 10-7. God bless you Bill, you made a many a mile with me, and gave me a lot of smiles along the way and I can't thank you enough. I think I done alright for a Ridgeway boy, And to whoever posted these old CW. tunes, thank you too very much. I enjoyed hearing these again, lots of memories for me here.

Been at it since 1980. Some years only 70k miles, others 165k. Now I've slowed down to around 120k. It does get into your blood. It's the only place I feel like I belong.
